  1. I have to admit, Kilsyth are one of the worst teams in regards to community and youth football. Absolute no connection whatsoever with blinkered people with no vision, well definitely last season was the attitude while speaking to a couple of committee members. So getting new blood as in fans to Kilsyth, very limited I'd say. I admit its a free speech on here and quite right too but Krfc10, you have understood peoples own views of your comments above and I don't blame any of the replies. if I was a Kilsyth fan Id be so embarrassed at the lack of vision
  2. I love this guy, I think he's funny as feck delusional, hmmmm, but I will say even the die hards of "saving the junior grade" don't think to highly of him and I'm sure most would want him to stop because of the harm he does. He is typically the type of reason junior football is where it is today, and we all know where that is, disappearing fast
  3. Yeah Cyclizine as you say and I've stated previously, once most of the WOS apply for a license and accepted which makes them fall in line with the amount of EOS teams and the SOS teams with a SFA license then relegation and promotion to the Lowland league will be a lot more earlier to organise.
  4. Suppose that is up for debate just spitballing here but in reality, whatever the past has been, 1 up to lowland via a tier 6 play off or 2 up etc.. The system may be changed due to a West tier 6 starting giving more teams fighting to get into the Lowland league from tier 6 and below so would it be best having two relegated no matter what and two promoted and if the lowland league champions win playoff to go to the SPFL then all three champions of the EOS, WOS and the SOS all go up with two relegated and that will decide the fate of the bottom teams in tier 7 of each association
  5. From reading into the George Fraser podcast I'd suspect 3 conference winner promoted and 5 relegated and then following season top 3 promoted and another 5 relegated and then the top division would be down to 16
  6. Yeah definitely Shannon I would suspect that's something that will be addressed at the general meeting of the WOS clubs and of the genral meeting of all clubs
  7. Hi Tamthebam No that wont happen and that's just looking at it from an objective view, the junior cup is a secondary competition so no way will league games be moved to midweek for the junior cup to be played on a Saturday. There's no way on a Saturday junior cup games runs making the league fixtures chaotic working around what teams are in the junior cup and who are not. its not a priority anymore. I genuinely think in a couple of years there wont be many teams in the WOS playing in the Scottish junior cup The Scottish South Challenge cup will have 147 teams from the West and East and South involved, Some fantastic n powerful teams and no trips to the north The junior cup is weaker, smaller, opposition from the north and not exciting anymore, so why would any team from the West join it to take the chance of a trip north, coasting them 900 or so quid. Its up to them right enough but yeah, there's definitely teams in the WOS who will not be renewing their Junior membership. I could be wrong and don't minds if I am, but I doubt it
  8. Actually, theres a reason why I reply to him He was even stating in the development u20s section that youth football is a mess> hes just a troll full of negativity and he doesn't realise even people who are junior orientated find him really embarrassing. I would rather he continues his attitude and comments regarding junior football, why because he puts more and more junior people off junior football lolool
  9. West region juniors is finished. its the same at the East with only teams from West Lothians left. Ask every team in the East of Scotland who moved from the junior league, 'do they still see themselves as a junior team'?, most will say, 'no we are a senior side but enjoyed our past history when we were a junior team.' its going to be the same in the West, there's no junior league to play in anymore. I still find you really funny, the way your negative and the way harp on about junior clubs, there are quite a few ex junior clubs who now see them self as a senior side. You have to deal with it
  10. Just read that again, Spud4 don't take this personal but I'm sorry Spud4 but you are totally wrong The LL, EOS and SOS always stated that they would organise the league for the first season and then teams would be able to vote in anyone who they wanted to run the WOS the following year. This was one fo the first things ALL teams were informed about and it was even clear on P&B that this was the case so I haven't got a clue where your getting your info from but that's the thing, its the clubs at the EOS who have voted in people to run their Association, its the clubs n the SOS who have voted in people to run their organization and the WOS clubs have been told that they can vote in the people whom they think is fit enough to run the WOS so then expect this to be the case. It's only the idiot clubs or ignorant, weak ones who vote in the guys who ran the junior association where the problems could arise.
  11. Its funny, junior football is in decline, its something you have to deal with. Clubs are retaining their membership but there are also teams I'm sure who are not. junior football was left in the shite it was, not because of the SFA, SPFL or the Lowland league, East of Scotland or the South of Scotland, it was in shite because of the junior associations organisations and their runnings
  12. Don't understand the negativity. All teams knew they wont have any say in the operations for the fist season but then will all be able to vote in whom they think is best to run the WOS. The league will be run but the Lowland, East of Scotland and South of Scotland League and then after run by the people who are voted in by the 67 WOS teams. If the SFA say they can only have one division in Tier 6 then that's what has to happen, not the LL, EOS and the SOS's fault
  13. I believe there will be plenty of U21s teams playing next year in the West> its always different the following year, some teams fold, some teams join
  14. That is fantastic, another team joining the U20s development league and making it official There is nothing saying how many teams but the development lowland league receive enough interest that they hope to arrange of which they have stated there's been plenty of interest and looks very promising. The list of teams for the West would/could be Have Applied or ran an Under 20s team in season 19/20 Dunipace have an U20s confirmed but admittedly unsure at the moment for WOS or EOS Cumbernauld Colts Braves / Edusport BSC Bonnyton Thistle Upper Annandale Mid Annandale Bellshill New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Clydebank New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Shettleston New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Troon FC New to U20s Development CONFIRMED Vale of Leven New to U20s Development CONFIRMED POSSIBLY (two teams from the group below I know will be applying to the U20 development league so that would take it to 14 teams from the West side and with an impressive, excellent East side, the Lowland U20s Development League looks as if is growing from strength to strength) Kilwinning Pollok Rossvale East Kilbride Kirkintilloch Rob Roy Largs Thistle Irvine Meadow St Cadocs Newmains United
  15. Consumed lolol , now talk about assumptions that are way off lololol Unfortunately you are fecked with that jimmyboy, with me logging off Just deal with my viewpoint and I'll deal with yours and anyone's else. I will never make an assumption of you, if I do, I usually guess right with my assumption
  16. I can't say, as I haven't spoken with anyone at Newmains, I only know from the people I chat with or have been in communication. U20s development team is not a static item, it really depends how its run or what way each team thinks it should be run. Will a professional team look at an U19s team and ask them to join and become their u20s team but in the next couple of years there is nothing or no-one to take over from the next age unless the first team find another U19s team two years later to take over or an academy runs an u19s and the under 19s become the new u20s development team and the coaches all work together so that the teams below at U17, U16 down through the ages are trained with a purpose of development and thus when they reach the Under 20s age they are ready to experience the first team. Definitely will be great if Newmains does add an u20s development team as there will be about 14 teams, form the West in the development league
  17. he hasn't, if you read his other posts, you realise just a troll As stated before its factually cheaper to run a U20s development team than an Under 17s, 19s or U21s
  18. don't worry, I always will be Unless you or anyone else becomes blinkered and then I'll take action, Just waiting on my job interview by zoom to become P&B police
  19. Shakes head stop looking at it negatively, I didn't reply to you comment as a negative, I was putting a positive spin on it, that's all We are all different in our views and that's fine. I read mr Groundhoppers assumption and understand his comments There are people on here whom I disagree with and respect them for their views and the same of people whom I agree with It's people who try and force their views on you from here who are wrong, whether pro junior or pro oyramid etc... casing point Traffordb above
  20. jimbaxter, common, the type fo person you are from reading your posts, sometimes I have different views, sometimes I concur 100% but yeah, they are if you act on them and you are wrong but then again they could be the total opposite and perfect if you act on the assumption and find out you were right
  21. Totally forgot as I mentioned it previously but not heard anything as it looked as if they were too busy extending their youth club into a senior club but I was told today that St Cadocs are looking to start an U20s team for the development league. Nothing concrete yet but would be a great addition as their youth set up is in great shape
  22. There is a criteria regarding where to play and other stuff but in reality its actually cheaper for a development squad than an normal U19s team You train the same way, (both pay for training lets) You play a home match (both pay let to host a home match) Both teams pay for a match referee but difference is you both pay for a referee but the development team receive the money back from the SFA at the end of the season If a team finishes bottom of their conference so that could be a reason but the development is about development and if there is no lads promising for the first team, I/e potentially good enough then the senior team might not want a development thinking its not worth their while or genuinely they might have that much on that they don't want a development team this year..
  23. I get your point and it could work but each area, the WOS, EOS and the SOS need most teams to be licensed, so it will take a few years for the WOS to catch up
