Every team should welcome another team getting licensed and know its there for them to do the same if they so wish

Oh I get ya I still would find this funny that a youth team is using the senior team for the youth team to operate under their name in a different area. The first team of every development squad, remember can fold the team at any time and every first team is to take responsibility of the development team so I find that a bit hard to take in. if that was true then Upper Annadale are very guidable indeed

I know for a FACT the Bens never used Upper Annadale, it was Annadale who wanted to use the Bens park and negotiated a deal to hire the park for the development league on Friday evenings. Your not from the area, well I don't think you are, I don't expect you to know the workings of the Bens and how they have been operating. if you did you would then know the bens did not use the Upper as a flag of convenience

Definitely a welcome addition to the Lowland Development League To be honest when I first listed the teams I was thinking if they get to maybe 5 or 6 teams from the West with the current 5 west teams then maybe they could make up a regional West and then an East regionalised and that would be great but in all honestly to get 30 teams officially state they are applying to join the Lowland U20 League with their U20 team is absolutely fantastic and maybe more to follow in next 2 days just makes me think that the Lowland league will just grow from strength to strength LATEST UPDATE 13/0620 Have confirmed Officially that they have or are applying or operated an Under 20s team in season 19/20. Nothing is guaranteed until after June the 15th deadline for applications. sometimes it requires an expanded version You of all people know, well you have moaned a few times recently that what you said is not quoted. in a others reply correctly as you intended so you must know that maybe sometimes what you write is not conveyed the way its intended. And you know fine well why I said why do you reply to the guy. His post are erratic, constantly negative and down right lies sometimes and is using other profiles constantly to flout all this on these thread when in fact he knows little of youth football

First of all, what is going on, why you are replying to the person. You know hes Trafford, Cally, Alzar7 and many others, all negative stuff, constantly. He hasn't talked to one coach who has stated they are worried worried. A lot of people open their mouths and don't fully understand the concept of what's going on, the effect these things will have on our youth or anything like that. 1. You going to have first teams who already have an academy connected to their team ready to go Pollok, Clydebank, Kilwinning, Rossvale, Dunipace so that is an easy move. I will add in Beith with their academy even thought they are taking most of the Giffnock team 2. Your going to have first teams who just connect an outside external academy and get them involved and join at the hip Darvel and Glenvale, Johnstone burgh and the team they joined, Maybole and Valspar 3. Could be connected with no 2 but first teams will just contact an independent U19s team and say, "you wanna be our development team" and deal with the problem the following year or two years when the development team is too old. We are now in the realms of possibility where young lads at U12,13, 14 etc... will look at the development squad and know that's where they need to get to become a first team player, is a goal for them to aim for, within their grasp and this will hopefully have more lads stay committed to football. Anyone tells you any differently is talking rubbish Youth football, amateur football and junior football has been falling and what, do we let it continue because what the guy says above about past 10 years is right but its no oone elses fault except for ourselves and short sightedness and bubbles of our own little worlds. Now the cats out the bag, most teams are involved in the pyramid process and see the potential of growth and I say good luck to them, as I see this as an improvement of Scottish football

I think quite a lot will renew. Many will renew due to heir relationship/history with the juniors and the Scottish cup Some will renew cause they know it will give them a bigger schedule but with a development squad means they can bleed their youth player sin the cup or they are there for cover.

Do the teams in the east want to travel through to Glasgow on a Friday night? A bit of common sense is required here. Nope that's why its likely to be regionalised but there were 6 west sided teams in the lowland league for season 20/21, (mid and Upper Annadale play in the SOS so are similar to Camelon and Dunipace), and it proved successful for most and not too many complained . it will definitely make it easier regionalised. But too many cant complain. if Upper Annadale do go to the East, they are the ones who will be traveling every second Friday to Edinburgh or Perth.Dundee etc... Same at Mid Annandale, spare a though for them whatever region they are in and they are more East side than West when you look at a map, they will either have to travel up to Edinburgh, Perth Dundee etc... or if in the West travel up to Dumbarton, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire etc... From what I'm lead to believe after this coming season, if the first team play in the East league, then their Development team will play in the East side. I think this is a good idea as its giving everyone time to adjust. The current U20s Dunipace team that takes over from last years team is a team who have played in a West Youth league and they stated they loved it but expect to be playing in the East in 21/22 as their first team is an East side so they will choose to stay in the East this coming season just to make it easier, from the chats I've heard in season 21/22 in the development league whatever side the first team are playing then the U20s team will do the same in the Development league

Don't shoot the messenger. They enjoyed the league last season that much that they have decided that they want to go to the East as they believe its very experienced in the development league and want to experience it again. It still ha to be confirmed by the league anyways so we will all know come the end of June Hey I could be wrong, not very often though

Yip correct from first hand source, it will be an East and West regionalization and two conference sin the East and two conferences in the West. the only change to this could be if the season starts late and they may change it two 3 conference leagues in both East and West. Upper Annnadale and Dunipace will play in the East with possibly 36 team while the West could have about 34 teams

Disagree with that totally. In an ideal world, yes it would be great for them to play where they are based but circumstances happened that takes them away from the community but in the hope to return. You cant just shut a team down because they have been forced out of their area, or mis-managed or just the wrong decision makes them move or a ground sold from under them. I cant remember but what happened to Clyde who played at Shawfield, why did they move\?, I'm sure there's many examples of these reasons but is something they just have to get on with until they are abale to return

Upper Annandle will be in the East and looks like Dunipace will do the same, although the West might be regionalised so Dunipace might reconsider as they would go intot he section were they don't travel to Ayrshire, so not long journeys

All the teams listed above in the thread and I was told at the Zoom meeting there was Pollok, Ardrossan Wnton and Drumchapel United were represented, which means they have applied to join the :Lowland Development League. Think that's about 34 teams from the West with 3 days till deadline date

I've been reading the posts and don't get what you are talking about. Doesn't matter what the SFA or SYFA say, the Scottish government decides with each phase what we all can and cant do, thus, the SFA and the SYFA cant really say anything or work out what's best when things change constantly. its the same for changing rooms, sports complexes when they can open, they are governed by Scottish law so we all have to wait. If your a coach why are parents hassling you when they can go back to training, its common sense, their Childs safety comes first and the Scottish government don't want anyone out unless they have to tell them to wait for Scottish Government updates and the local updates and then I'm sure the relevant sports bodies will do the same.... Right now, we cannot train, everyone can go on fitness workouts by themselves as many times as they want, so its a start and hopefully by phase 2 things might change. At the end of the day we are all in this shit together so being positive is the best way. Youths who want to return to football should be preparing for the next few months because as soon as teams can start training then I'm sure they will start right away. Right now theres light at the end of the tunnel, phase one is started and hopefully soon we will go into phae two
