I obviously agree that disabled fans should be made to feel accommodated at games, but you're absolutely never going to make any progress with an attitude like this.

I’m confused by the “away fans sneak a drum in” what do they do put it under their shirt 😂. It’s not exactly something the steward has to search you for.  I sympathise if it gives her a migraine but there’s a drum at pretty much every stadium you go to.

September is going to be an interesting month with Dunfermline and Ayr at home and Utd and Rovers away.

Two very different games at Starks last year, the 5-2 was a good win but a slightly flattering score line, the loss was pretty one sided.

Expect Robson to start at LB.  We will start converting the possession and chances into goals and give someone an absolute shoeing but I have a funny feeling it might not be until a fit Grant Savoury comes back in and I doubt it'll be next weekend either.

It'll be a pleasant surprise if we win.

The 5-2 was a really weird game, absolutely no doubt your lads deserved to win but the score didn’t reflect the game that day, everything you did came off and everything we did just fell apart. Interesting to see how Saturday goes as I’ve no idea how good QPFC are despite being top. You looked really good last year but obviously the wheels came off at the end. This league is really hard to call so far with everyone capable of beating everyone. How many fans do you think will come through for this one? Hopefully we can keep the run going but while we’re undefeated we’re certainly not strolling games.

Hope the officials for the upcoming derby deny Raith a clear penalty in retribution for Vaughan’s cheating.

I know you’re pure excited about the big game but it’s a whole two weeks away, we know you’ve got nothing else to look forward to before then but we really need to concentrate on our upcoming game with Hibernian in the League Cup.  It’s the round where all the diddy teams are out.  If you’re stuck for football perhaps see if Falkirk are up for a friendly as they’ve nothing on next weekend either.

Brilliant news. There'll no doubt be semantics over who is included, but ultimately it's 1700 folk committing to go to most games. Ideally over the next few seasons we can kick on and push up to 2000+.

Aye as a Fanbase like most clubs around the country we bemoan the lack of interest in the local town, 1700 isn’t going to catapult us into a world beating team but it’s a wee step in the right direction.  Great to see so many young fans coming along last couple of seasons as they’re ultimately the ones you need to attract.  I’m not too bothered how many are children’s tickets as they’re far from free, it costs parents in snacks, drinks, merchandise etc and if they enjoy it you get future fans who hopefully one day bring their own children. I work with a guy who used to take his kids to the odd game he’s bought his first season ticket, says his kids love going to games.

I think if you look at the chances created by both teams throughout the match, a draw is probably a fair result. Raith missed some sitters, particularly in the first half.

That said, to throw away two points in that manner is disappointing. The subs were rubbish, and I’m glad Doolan acknowledged that he made an arse of it. Dowds is beyond useless at this point.

I get the feeling we’re going to score and concede a lot of goals this season. Looked great going forward but all over the shop at the back.

Pretty much in line with the conversations we had on the way back. Watching the match Thistle for me played the slicker football that should win you the game, we looked more disjointed and it showed we were missing a few key players (when do we not these days 😂). However there were chances at both ends that were fairly equal and both sides could have and should have scored more. Obviously Thistle will feel they lost two points while Raith will feel they won a point but a draw was probably about right on chances created. All in all it was an entertaining game and even at 2-0 it was a good viewing. Interesting to see how both teams do in their next fixtures.

Trains to this will be some laugh with it being peak festival season. Can’t wait for Scotrail to run 2 carriages.

f**k they festival c***s 😂. Naw decent draw in terms of a pay day and a good day out.  As you say festival could make travel a wee bit difficult but first world problems.  Hibs will be strong favourites but are a bit more bearable than the Old Firm so all to play for. Slim margins we could easily be out with Dundee or Accies still in so let’s enjoy yet rollercoaster.

1600 season tickets sold, our highest tally in 10 years. Fair play.

Great to see, interesting to know how this compares to other clubs in the division. Club are certainly doing something’s right just now with improved social media, popular shirts and a bit more interest in the local area. Now we just need the team to have a good season.

  8. Still can’t make my mind up on the new shirts, think it’s the collars that are bothering me. The away top is definitely an improvement on last years Pink one and that Red and White stripes one we had. Nice of Las Palmas to invite us for a friendly when was the last time we left Scotland pre season? We rarely seem to travel far for it.

Raith Rovers loaning Lewis Vaughan to Dumbarton has got to be up there.

    Or the Goodwillie saga.

    Or the Claude Anelka thing.

    Or John Hughes.

Come to think of it, how the f**k are Rovers still kicking about the upper end of Scottish football. A series of basket case decisions over the years.

Not sure Yogi Hughes appointment while a complete clusterfuck even comes close to the other two events both of which could have finished the club.
