It would be nice if we could win a game by more than 1 goal
I mean it’s be nice but I’ll happily take 1 goal wins until the end of the season.

As a great fan of sportsmanship I’d like to wish Morton the best of luck for their next match this Friday.

Wait 3 points at Cappielow, AFTER the clocks changed!
Need to lie down.

I assume the Fife Derby will be the TV game. It certainly should be.
Bit far East for BBC Glasgow!

Surely the biggest question is how many Morton posters will be banned by Wednesday morning if they lose?
Should be a tough game and we’ll need to play significantly better than we did against the Pars to take the points here. Like everyone else has mentioned please don’t play McGill at LM again as he is totally wrong for that role. Interesting to see how Morton look after a win against Ayr will have given them a bit of confidence. I’d like to see Connolly back in the team but he and Easton will come down to their fitness. Happy with any win here but these are the games where teams sitting high in the table often take for granted and then get knocked on their arse as they underestimated the opposition.

I’m sure the ball jak kicked was the original that had come straight back off the hoardings onto the pitch but the rovers player took the shy with a new ball, ref shouldn’t have allowed the restart in the first place but when he did jak did the right thing and forced the stoppage, I’m sure we were the ones on the ball he’d be gently knocking it out of play.
Its home advantage that ball boys may favour the home team, it’s why in the big leagues they give these spots to youth players rather than using it as community engagement we do up here.
Jak did exactly what I’d expect him to do as it made sure the game was halted any player would have done the same.
Of course it is, always amazes me when you see some folk moaning that the ball boys / girls favour the home team with quick balls or slow balls as required. Literally every team tells them to do this at all levels. I question if people have ever been to a game if they don’t know this happens. Same with people moaning about any time wasting when every team is guilty of it if it gets the result.

Fairly glad I missed that now, would've been a sickener. No intention of watching the highlights.
Not much highlights from that game TBF. Amazed our TV guys found 8 minutes.

Expecting a close game after the last two meetings this season, a draw and a 1-0 showed there wasn’t much between the teams over 180 minutes. We’ve had a strong start result wise but I think we’ve ridden our luck in a couple of those games which ran out against Airdrie but there’s also been some good performances too. If Pars are missing Bene that will be a blow to them, DUFC aside luck with injuries will be a big factor for the other 9 teams. Hopefully a decent crowd for this one before the temperatures start to really drop and the clocks change. As the home team we’ll be the bookies choice but I think first goal could dictate this one.

Not surprising it’s off with everything going on up in the Angus area, at least they called it early. Well I’ll stay home with a few cans. Hopefully things clear up soon up Angus way, stay safe all.

Perhaps someone can tell us if and when a pitch / weather inspection will take place.
Can’t, pitch has blown away.

Have always said no B Teams should be involved if they need more teams increase entrys from the HFL & LL
But surely the only reason Scotland have qualified for successive Euros is purely down to the B teams in the challenge cup and Lowland League

Will the Diddy cup game against Montrose be available on Raith TV overseas? Heading to Spain and France for the Scotland games so won’t be at San Starko this weekend.

Shame there’s no way for Raith TV to broadcast it to fans who’ve paid but can’t make the game due to travel issues.

Shite the trains being off, looking forward to a good atmosphere and a packed crowd.

6,300 tickets sold. Not sure how many we'll shift today with the weather, but should make for a great occasion and a nice wee boost to the coffers too.
With todays weather it’s probably just as well it’s an artificial surface. Games around the country will definitely fall to the weather today. Hopefully roads are clear for anyone traveling.

Home tickets - 2,994
Away Tickets - 2,834
Fair play to Dundee Utd fans, that’s some effort.

As acting manager Will Davis be doing the traditional Rangers in Europe by standing in a bush arguing with the fans?

The “Dog and Duck Loyal” banner in the away end seems fairly accurate as this Rangers team is playing like a pub team.

Getting an extra £8,500 in tickets is a no brainer. Hopefully getting the singing section in the south stand makes it a better atmosphere.
Should have always been at the back of the South Stand. It’s supposed to start the songs / chants to make the rest of the stand join in. That doesn’t happen if it’s 90 meters away from the main support.

Loving the boos at the second goal
Prefer the shout of “come on they’re tasking the piss, come on” right as we score the 1st goal. Very good passing display during the first half.. game should have been put to bed by halftime with a 3rd but we didn’t manage to grab it. Ayr game out fighting second half as you expect and grabbed a goal back. Ref was utterly shite and totally lost the plot at times during the match. A vast improvement over the last two games and while Ayr are down near the bottom they just put 5 past Queen Park so coming away with 3 points is a good days work. Tough game next week against Dundee Utd.

With an unbeaten run of 56 years it’s surely Third Lanark’s year.

Should be an interesting game on Saturday with plenty of former Diamonds involved with Raith now. Most predicted Airdrie to struggle this season but they started well and got early points on the board to settle the nerves. 2 wins and 3 defeats sees them 7th currently but a poor result against Arbroath will have perhaps dented the confidence a little. Poor record in recent years against us but as we showed on Saturday records are eventually broken. Hopefully we can continue our great start by nicking the points but Airdrie will be out to make a statement to Murray and the former Airdrie players. Hopefully a decent crowd for this one, do Airdrie still have their “Make Airdrie Great Again” Trump banner?
