Going to be up Fife way anyway this weekend so I will be in attendance - I hate myself for it already.
Where's decent for pre match food and drinks in Kirkcaldy?
Aye Novar and Duchess are closest with decent enough food although as said above you’ll probably need to book. If you just want to walk up and grab food there’s also the Exchequer slightly further along the High Street which is your standard chain pub with pub grub and live sport. There’s O’Connells as well but no idea what it’s like as I’ve not been in there in years although used to be fine.
Pubs there’s a few at that end of the High Street in addition to the food ones. Montagues, Alfie’s and the Penny Farthing are all fine and no issues getting in. Closest to the ground is The Estuary (Link Street) bit of a dump especially the toilet but never had any problems in there.
Obviously some will be busy final Friday before Christmas.

Not sure what to expect here, reverse fixture we were comfortable first half but Ayr came out and grabbed one back to make it a nervous 2nd half with a single goal win (we don’t do any other type of win). Since then we’re on a good run and Ayr seem to be sitting mid table inconsistent. If we want to challenge Utd for the league (big if) these are the potential banana skins we need to overcome. I’ve no doubt Ayr will want to come to Fife and burst our bubble they’ve beaten Airdrie last fixture something we don’t seem to be able to do and will be looking to keep that going. Plus side Murray seems to have pretty much a full squad to call on if you saw our team sheets last season you’ll understand the difference. No offence to Ayr fans but I’m hoping we can continue the run for a Merry Christmas. Fair play to any Honest Men fans who make the journey for this one.

They'll be dancing in the streets of Rangers. What a day to be alive.
Wash your mouth out, that’s our line and we have no desire to be associated with that mob.

The one thing I’ve noticed is they don’t really kill games off.
It’s difficult to kill a game off when you take the lead in the 95th minute TBF.

£25 is too expensive for Scottish football at any level. Twenty's plenty.
Wouldn’t be against a £25 cap in the top flight for home fans but I do agree with the £20’s plenty for away fans as it obviously involves extra costs for fans travelling to games.

Think they're backing Utd home games up for later in the season. They have to show each team at home 'X' amount times I seem to recall?
The next United v Raith game at Tannadice is due the same weekend as Scotland away to Netherlands. That game is on the Friday night - Would suspect the BBC will look to have the Tannadice game live, but wonder if they'll pitch it up against the national team or not?
Why? Do they think you’re planning on winning the league or something , no no it’s fine we’re no doubt expected to mount our challenge in injury time so basically game 36 we’ll somehow come back from the dead to win it, it’s just what we do these days .
Could be interesting to see if BBC decide to show Utd v Raith with the Scotland game on at the same time. Guess it’ll depend on our respective league positions come March as the game could be a nothing game by then.

Looking like the Shed will be full for this one and Dundee Utd are selling a decent amount if tickets for the home end. Absolutely buzzing for this one, a top of the table clash with a big crowd and hopefully a good atmosphere. Nicking top after the late goal in Arbroath is a massive plus as Utd will be obvious favourites for this one. Can we upset the odds? I’ve absolutely zero idea but we just need to go up there and play our game and see what happens. Amazing the start both teams have had this season and most seasons either team would be pulling away but we’re pretty much neck and neck going into this one.

Thought we were very underwhelming today, got the early goal and looked in control. Gave away the penalty and then looked very nervous. Second half Arbroath had a lot more of the ball while nothing seemed to land for us but absolute scenes at the end to grab that winner. Over all we really weren’t at the races today but credit to Arbroath for closing us down and forcing us to go long which without Hamilton we struggled with. We showed the odd good passing move but too many poor passes saw them then breakdown. Arbroath looked well organised but they don’t seem to offer much in the final third but early days for a new manager so perhaps he’ll improve them going forward. Arbroath are bottom now but from what I’ve seen there’s very little between 10th-4th with everyone beating each other on their day. Partick are a better team but blow hot and cold and ourselves and Dundee Utd seem to be grinding out the results. Where will Arbroath finish? Absolutely no idea plenty more football to be played before the end of the season.

Don’t think we’ve “won easily” in the league so far this season so no reason to think that’ll change on a cold windy night up in Arbroath. Yes they’re on a bad run but have just brought in a new manager so things can change with a team if he finds the right system. I’d expect Arbroath to play very much with a solid defence above all else as bringing back confidence usually starts by stopping the goals being conceded and then working on the attack. It’s likely the onus will be on our attackers to break them down. We’ll certainly need to ensure we don’t concede a goal and go 1-0 down and really could do with getting an early lead. Tough game, hopefully an away win and hopefully they’ve got Steak and Black pies left.

Standard question, where is good to park for the game?

Well that was a very enjoyable game of football and a great advert for the Scottish Championship. Thistle have a decent team but seem to blow hot and cold and certainly didn’t turn up until after H/T. Absolutely love this Raith team at the moment they just don’t give up 2-0 up and cruising and then an absolute disaster sees Thistle with their tails up and looking like they’ve destroyed us with 3 goals. Couple of changes and we come back to win it AGAIN! I don’t know if IM can somehow keep this run going but god it’s great to watch. If (always a big if) we can get a result up at Arbroath that’ll put serious distance between us snd 3rd place setting up a cracking game with Dundee Utd.

Should be a short stay with Dundee Utd home to Ayr.

Judging by our current squad and staff it’s basically whoever Airdrie or Kelty have available at the time.

Anyone know what tickets are allocated to the SSC members? Notice there’s obviously 4 different prices for different areas of the stadium but don’t see anything mentioning where our allocation will be, I’m assuming the official fans sections for each country are in a block?

It’s a conspiracy! Everyone knows all the referees in Scotland are known for frequenting Jackie-Os. It’s time they were all investigated for the amount of Linoleum in their houses.

Tough game, was at the reverse fixture where Thistle should have won but took their foot off the gas at 2-0 and were punished. Thistle seem to be blowing hot and cold but are clearly to me the other team who’ll be in the top four (DUFC, RRFC, PTFC and ???). We’re high on confidence but we’ll need to be at our best to win this one. I hope Brian Graham is out as suggested above as he’s a hell of a striker as we know at Raith. Any win here would be awesome.

Jesus a wee look on Twitter and there’s a few DABs embarrassing themselves with weird claims about late Rovers goals / penalties. Aye that’s right there’s a conspiracy by the SFA and SPFL to keep DUFC down and get RRFC up . I’ve no doubt some of our roasters were exactly the same during the Arbroath winning league 1 season.

Hopefully, to me Stanton is often a standout at this level and clearly good enough for the level above. If he’s willing to back the Rovers and what the club are trying to achieve hopefully more are willing to follow. I’m sure some of our players are attracting interest from other clubs and will have a big decision to make on their future. One thing seems to be clear that the team spirit is high and they all appear to be enjoying playing for the club right now. Will that be enough to convince some to extend .
