  1. This morning's Reporter. There's also this:
  2. No return for Aggy. He has signed for Stranraer. Stand by for news on Osei Obengo. Is the John Gemmell news a wind- up?
  3. It should be the sole preserve of the Sellick Corporation whose supporters believe that kind of guff.
  4. Well that's Livi down. It's either Ayr United or Stranraer for the Championship next season.....
  5. I read this second to the enquiry about Willie Muir. Sad to hear of Robert's passing, nice man.
  6. Knew him well. Willie Muir from Helensburgh. Boghead announcer from early 70s until mid 90s, I was friendly with his son. Willie died last year. I'll let OKI3 tell my favourite anecdote about Willie.
  7. Just reading the Airdrie thread and Lister's situation. Apparently the reason he is leaving is that he won't go full time with Airdrie as he has a good job. Surely worthy of consideration.
  8. A Morton supporting friend of mine assures me that Mikey Miller is, and I quote, 'honking'.
  9. Sons players reveal the secret behind their performances.
  10. I liked Simon Barrow's quote last night when he accepted his award for his considerable contribution to both Sonstrust and the club. A taxi driver asked which team he supported and Simon answered "Dumbarton". On the driver enquiring why he didn't support a big club, Simon answered: "I support a football club, not a corporation."
  11. Three attendees tonight (one a player) wearing sports jackets with leather patches on the elbow. Who knew that woodwork teachers in the 1970s should be fashion trendsetters in the 21st century?
  12. To be serious for a minute, I've yet to meet one person who thinks that 12:30 tomorrow, Sunday, is in any way, a good time for the Alloa v Dumbarton game. Yet another fail from the SPFL.
  13. I don't wish to be a pedant but it's pennant.
  14. I see from this morning's Herald that Sons fan and former club director, Billy Walker has just sold his Benriach Distillery Company. .........for £95 million.
  15. Should have said Hibs or Alloa. Really they shouldn't let me on here without a carer.
  16. On a brighter note we are four goals away from a total of 6000 league goals. Many clubs haven't achieved this feat Aberdeen amongst them. Thanks to super Sons fan Jim Jenkinson who revealed these to stats to me. Jim says we'd be the 13th club to reach this total.
  17. We've scored eight away league goals this season. If we don't score against Hibs it'll be the lowest away total in the club's history.
  18. Yes, she and Alex were there along with Gordon's brother Scott and his two wee boys.
  19. Anyone who wasn't fortunate enough to be at pre match hospitality, this gives a flavour of it. One of the 'Secret Opera Singers' had posed as an Italian steward at DFC before giving us a blast of Pavarotti. The guy at the beginning of the clip here was 'a chef' at the club. He sings 500 miles of key before giving his contribution. These guys were amazing. The footage here was captured by Alan Findlay on his phone. We had a party of seventeen at hospitality yesterday, the majority of whom weren't supporters of either side. They left having enjoyed not just the football but a fantastic day all round. Well done DFC and Keith from KG Instalation and Design for arranging the entertainment as part of his wife's birthday celebrations. http://www.kgdesignandinstallation.co.uk/ https://youtu.be/wSPH-BysSFQ
  20. Oops sorry he wasn't I had a brain fart. Yes five wins
