  1. A ticket match with our limited capacity has an adverse effect on crowds. Season books are at the stadium available for collection. You should have been notified.
  2. Walk up will attract a bigger crowd on the day over all ticket in the majority of circumstances. Anything which makes it more difficult for a supporter to attend, means that the chances he/she will are lessened. Simples.
  3. I was quoting from Sons Official History by Jim McAllister, not from memory.
  4. We lost by that score at East End Park in our first division meltdown season under Jim Fallon on 20/04/96. Martin Mooney scored for Sons.
  5. I thought it was when they invoked article 50. It's all so confusing....
  6. Does anyone know when the Bosman ruling ceases to apply?
  7. http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/order-charlie-gallaghers-biography-from-cqn-books/
  8. Looking at Kasubandi's info, he certainly sounds like a guy who would give 100% We have to ask tho' 100% of what?
  9. Best laugh I've had in a long time. And for the first time ever I'm looking forward to reading what VikingTon has to say..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36559890
  10. No. The 15 will be a minimum for insurance purposes. There is a general minimum wage for under 18s.
  11. I got the scorers wrong fair enough. However there was bother. A friend of mine and I had taken our wives to the game and had to go on to the track to avoid the fisticuffs as the fans switched ends at half time.
  12. Allan McInally scored three that day. Big fight at half time between opposing fans.....Ah those were the days...
  13. Alloa are building a very decent squad IMHO. Good luck for next season.
  14. My own one is a cracker, and I doubt if anyone can top it. The league cup semi final tie v Celtic at Hampden in 1970. Celtic had appeared in their second European Cup final, months before. Dumbarton were mid table in the second division. The game was 0-0 AET. The story of the replay has been told many times but briefly it was 2-0 for Celtic very quickly and that was the score at ht. it was 2-2 at ft, 4-2 at first half et and 4-3 at full time AETo
  15. Indeed lol. I had a senior moment I was thinking of Ryan Stevenson.............
  16. Ryan Donnelly on the list of available players on the PFA website http://pfascotland.co.uk/player-availability/forwards/
  17. The Nade situation reminds me a bit of the Craig Dargo scenario when we came up from what is now league one. Dargo had been glad to get a game, scored some vital goals and did well. Then he asked for £1200 per week to stay. I wouldn't be surprised if Nade's demands were similar to that. If that's the case then there is only one outcome.
  18. Steady on. Oswestry isn't even in Wales it's in Shropshire. Them playing in the Welsh league must be akin to Berwick Rangers' Scottish League status.
  19. Of course the key element in a thriller is suspense. For this reason i predict an announcement at 22:14
  20. You can go back much further. Kenny Wilson only really had significant success at Dumbarton, as did Kenny Ashwood. Hugh Ward is another that springs to mind. However I would hope if Stevenson is to sign it would be on a 'prove your fitness' basis.
  21. I see Stevie Farrell claiming, in the Reporter, that Grant Gallagher has had a 'bad press' and that he played with injuries when he shouldn't have.
  22. The Record will no doubt have this 'third time lucky' news tomorrow or maybe Wednesday....
  23. Here's the link. http://m.heraldscotland.com/news/14523181.Revealed__the_offshore_firms_buying_up_Scottish_football/
