  1. Very strange statement by the club, as others have said why not just say needs more game time??, from his initial signing when I thought it was good buy, it's been very disappointing, wonder if we have another signing lined up?
  2. Sounds like a waste of time, money for nothing, if they are that bothered why don't they offer free tests on the NHS?, seems pretty pointless to me bearing in mind we are the most infected country in the world!!
  3. We booked Portugal for beginning of October back in March, as far as I'm aware we haven't booked tests, I'll have to do some further investigations!!!
  4. How are these travel tests policed, say you don't get your day 2 tests, how would they know??
  5. I think the old maxim don't change a winning team is probably spot on, obviously squad coverage is required for injuries and suspensions, I don't think this is rotation but I can also see the point of playing a few of our fringe players in the mickey mouse cup, I think with that game though the fact we never had a game for two weeks probably swayed JMcG's thinking, anyway a win would be nice!!
  6. I think we all understand that we are a selling club, but the it's the nature of the deal that sticks in my craw we have basically sold one of our most promising players with years left on his contract to the first bidder that came along, weakening our team, we did not have to accept this bid, why could we not have knocked it back and wait until January or next summer to see if other bids would have come in, it smacks of a gutless board with no forward vision for the club on the football front, as for JMc's interview it was car crash stuff. On the ticket front I don't understand why we would need photo ID for a ticket that can only be scanned once and not re-used?, as usual at the moment it's been requested totally out of the blue, what is the reasoning behind this, the club don't trust there "customers" methinks.
  7. Spot on, I'd also add I hope DT gets a good reception at Starks from the punters, wish him every success in the future playing for us, Hibs, Real Madrid and Scotland
  8. Just thought I'd pop back in and say this is fucking shite
  9. What a shambles, no better than Eric Drysdale, a pittance for a player of his potential, who the hell can we get to replace him, so pissed off at this, can't wait to see some justification for this "deal", that's my monthly subs getting cancelled
  10. Common sense decision IMO, sadly with the daft rules in place about isolation we'll have a lot more postponements of games in the future.
  11. I can't see what the club could have done about the power surge/failure, it's one of those things, the match commander ultimately decides if the game goes ahead or not and he/she should have questions to answer, the club have swiftly issued a response about the situation but there are a couple of points they should address;- 1. Better communication with those outside if a similar situation happens again with the entry system 2. Why was the exit route blocked with gordon brown's entourage, he should be dropped off and the cars made to leave and not come back until the crowds have dispersed
  12. The season tickets should all have been sent out by now RR, you would be better phoning the club to enquire.
  13. Looking forward to this tonight, not buying the pars pessimism it's a derby game and anything can happen, from our point of view i'm a wee bit more upbeat after Sunday but can see this being close
  14. As do a lot of folk, it's poor stuff again not to have it front and centre in the run up to the game.
  15. Well pleased with that result yesterday and the performances of the new signings (I was sceptical about them when they signed) was encouraging and how good was it having a bouncing South stand again!!, happy days.
  16. Well that was feckin fantastic, well done the Rovers especially the new signings who all gave encouraging performances
  17. 1. Did the club consult Aberdeen about the possibility of a reduced price?, 2. Fair enough they are all to blame then, 3. But she's in charge of dishing out free water
  18. A decent gesture Tx but one of the clubs own making, quite easily could have let punters bring in there own refreshments or opened the food kiosks, my point is valid, overpriced season tickets and £20 for a cup game on 12 midday on a Sunday is taking the piss
