  1. Yeah your probably right, we'll have to see who stays and who goes, I wonder if our injuries will be better this year than the last few seasons?, will LV play a big part (god i hope so)
  2. McPake only manages city clubs, very fortunate for the pars that it's auld lizzie's jubilee
  3. Good appointment for the Rovers IMO, every managerial appointment is a risk but it seems to be a solid one, was not wanting Thomson as I feel he carries to much the rangers baggage. Also fair play to the board for a decent process and fairly swift appointment.
  4. I think like every managerial appointment it's a risk, Murray is a risk for us as is McPake is for the pars, seems to be a good spud though, hope he does ok and we can get a derby game back in the championship or first division
  5. Heard on the grapevine it's McPake or Kettlewell for you city slickers
  6. I know it doesn't look good at the moment for the Blue Brazil but in football you just don't know, early goal and it's game on, anyway all the best to Cowden, fingers crossed you can pull off a miracle and stay up.
  7. Wasn't overly fussed about McGlynn staying or going but the way this has been handled by the board is a complete clusterfuck, if they wanted a new man then they should have been working on it, if they wanted to keep JMcG then why leave the negotiations so late when his contract runs out next month, what a shambles. As for McGlynn he is partially responsible for budget cuts for his signing of Goodwillie and Keatings, don't think he'll get a statue now
  8. You don't know that decisions haven't already been made, and we've just not been told. That's true BB, but if he is going would be nice to give him a send off, other teams are recruiting players where we don't seem to be, I just think next season is a big one after the shenanigans of this one, don't want to be doing a Falkirk and team recruitment is very important
  9. Plenty of moral guardians of our and other clubs on P&B to advise us of a candidates suitability, can't believe that a decision hasn't been made yet when we need to try and be resigning players and looking to sign others, not very good from the Rovers
  10. Will the Pars give us a guard of honour after our cup win for this game
  11. If the Pars press us all over the park we will struggle, how will we react after the cup final???, who knows, not confident about this as the Pars have been the better team in our last three meetings, but it's a derby and I suppose anything can happen!!, to sum up I don't have a clue but hoping for a Rovers win and get one over on John Shoes.
  12. Really enjoyed the day (and night) out, as others have said Queens shaded the first half, we were dangerous on the break, but our second half subs gave us the upper hand and we seen it out quite easily, Poplatnik and Mcdonald were outstanding on the day, big congratulations to the management, players and fans who I thought were brilliant all day. Finally I feel the introduction of colt teams has devalued this competition but watching your team in a cup final is brilliant and something all lower league fans would want, unlucky to Queens who don't look a bad outfit, on another day it could have been different.
  13. Yep, twice unlucky in the ballots, ach well have to hope for success in the cup draw
  14. Or end this pointless restriction on Friday at 7pm instead of waiting another 2 days
  15. It should be pointed out that Styx had one Covid outbreak, the same as many other pubs, they also adhere to all the track and trace rules and always have done, unlike many other pubs, as others have said I don't think they are allowed to show the game though
  16. That's a great signing and for three years!!, bloody hell, fair play to the club
  17. Cheers WB where is the best (cheapest) place to get the 2 day return test from?
  18. Where do you get the passenger locater forms?
  19. I have seen the "answers" and as I say they are whataboutery, Celtic could easily have accommodated 250-300 fans and have chosen not too, there is no excuse for this.
  20. Classic whataboutery from the Celtic faithful, no excuse not to offer a few hundred away tickets for this, none at all.
