  1. It’s actually the part where, because of Covid regulations in different parts of the UK, Tierney was allowed to play under English regulations because his team play in England, and Christie wasn’t allowed to play under Scottish regulations because his team play in Scotland.
  2. No they aren’t. UEFA certainly have their protocols, but the overruling body in every country is the government of that specific country, which can tell UEFA to go stuff themselves if they want. The Scottish government and the rules laid down for England are different. Which part of that do you not understand?
  3. It is so easy picking the team from a spectator point of view. I get your point, but Derek McInnes couldn’t win yesterday. He gets stick for picking the team he did , he would have received a lot of stick if he hadn’t played Wright after his stunning show last week, he would have received stick for not picking Cosgrove after his show last week. He was going to get stick whatever team he picked, unless the team won.
  4. It’s you that’s saying the players should have been treated the same, not me! I said that the two players were operating under different medical rules.
  5. The guy is an absolute belter Jacksgranda, he has made over 17,500 posts and not one of these has been constructive. He looks for the weak few words in some excellent posts, takes them totally out of context, and twists them to suit his view on the world. I’m pretty sure that that is the typical sign of someone being a bully. Thankfully we’ve reached the ages that we have and steered well clear of that trait.
  6. You do realise that the rules for Covid are different in Scotland and England. You do realise that Christie has to follow the Scottish rules and Tierney is under English jurisdiction. You do know that, surely?
  7. 6 for Monday. Knew 5 so an iffy start to trying to consolidate my place in the Teletext league. Not getting relegated last week was one of the highlights of my life.
  8. Much as it close to being my worst experience as an Aberdeen fan in 60 years, I can totally understand why every other fan in the land loves the Aberdeen v Queen Of The South semi final. That type of match doesn’t come along too often.
  9. Weak surrender? I presume that you didn’t see the match.
  10. From a Saintees fan, that could qualify as the funniest post of this thread.
  11. What I don’t get is fans of other teams coming on here and accusing Derek McInnes of shitting the bed when we play Celtic in the cups. In the last four seasons which teams have beaten Celtic in any domestic cup? The reason we’re high profile is that we get to semi finals and finals where, because nobody else can beat them, we always play them. A victim of our own success, relatively speaking.
  12. He hates it so much that he keeps getting his teams to semi finals or finals.
  13. Why have you suddenly reappeared when there’s no crowds to w*nk over?
  14. I think, like last week, we had to score first. Could have and possibly should have, but waste these chances and the outcome was fairly predictable once Christie hits that unstoppable shot. Credit to our team for never giving up, but never got a break in front of goal. The only two queries I would have is why McCrorie seemed to stay at the right back position for the whole match, and how Brown got away with his assault on Watkins without even a foul given against him.
  15. That’s my first experience of watching a match on Premier Sports. I can imagine that there’s very little difference being that and watching on Celtic TV.
  16. That’s one of the most endearing features of Celtic fans, they are fantastic winners. (Awaits some form of predictable response)
  17. Aberdeen playing a storm with that team. They have decided to play fair by not includingJonny Hayes as he would have been cup tied in normal circumstances. Didn’t want Celtic using that to complain about if we happen to win.
  18. If you lived in Aberdeenshire as opposed to the city, nobody there would have called a buttery a freaking rowie.
  19. Yes. I’m sure that, as usual, you will be more than happy to provide us all with the proof of “most other”?
  20. Too bad, most other Aberdeen fans think they have this in the bag. “most other”?
