  1. It was agreed weeks ago that matches can be shown at 3.00 on a Saturday during this crisis.
  2. A few things here. “The games could easily have been played” - on what universe? ”one team had to have their way” - I presume that you’re referring to Motherwell cheating their way to third. (third with an asterisk forever) One team that are obviously happy that the season was called early is Rangers, due to the fact that they only ended up 13 points behind Celtic rather the totally embarrassing 20 odd that it would have been if the games had all been played.
  3. They put both Panathanaikos and Fiorentina out of the tournament before beating Celtic ...not bad for a works team If you check out the YouTube clip, you’ll see that it wasn’t Celtic that they beat, it was Glasgow.
  4. No idea what point you’re trying to get across here, but the Motherwell v Aberdeen match had the date changed to Friday March 13th by the SPFL on 22nd November 2019, almost 4 months before the match was due to be played. Does that fit your criteria of “short notice”?
  5. I was simply quoting figures. Aberdeen provide a helluva lot more income for Hearts than Hearts do for Aberdeen. Nothing to do with who is the bigger team.
  6. Hearts fans numbers at last ten away matches with Aberdeen; 1471, 368, 1045, 460, 1055, 780, 1168, 576, 1251, 805. Total - 8979 Aberdeen fans numbers at last 10 away matches with Hearts; 1790, 2246, 1551, 1439, 1768, 6850, 1450, 1451, 1458, 3398. Total - 23401. Who is going to miss who?
  7. You’re struggling a wee bit here. Although we were tenth and missed play off matches, not relegation, it would have been a bit difficult to finish lower than tenth in a ten team league. Any team that finishes outside the top 14 in an 18 team league where the bottom two go down, unless they are 17th or 18th, can’t be relegated. Thems the rules. Or perhaps you’re trying to be funny.
  8. Just pointing out the bleedin' obvious that a few posters on here have egg on their face. Don't for one second expect anyone to acknowledge that though. Of course, a lot of the stuff that come out of Sportsound pundits mouths is a load of shite, probably more often than not, but sometimes, just sometimes...............
  9. Now who's gullible, to think that they actually meant that literally.
  10. Explain how you feel that they were gullible when they were correct in that there was something in what was said by Budge?
  11. This may yet turn out to be absolutely nothing, who knows, but at least it might make the posters on the Sportsound thread who were taking the piss out of the guys on the programme on Saturday for suggesting the the SPFL should talk to this philanthropist to find out if there was any basis to it, think before they jump in to pour scorn on things they know nothing about. It won't, but it would be nice if it did.
  12. This, this, this. The worst football programme on TV ever. It's even worse than Keith Lemon.
  13. Why have you taken that post as "anger"? I would call it "sensible".
  14. You need to listen to things carefully. He did say that, but the context was that he was having a go at Willie Miller who says that fairly frequently.
  15. Do you think that Rangers are a new club since 2012?
  16. Derek McInnes was live on Sportsound earlier. He was specifically asked about Jonny Hayes and said that Aberdeen are not in any position to add to their squad. He certainly didn't say he wasn't interested in asking Jonny Hayes to come back.
  17. Why are Celtic bumping their gums about getting fixtures announced on May 30th? Last season, when everyone knew what was happening in the world, they were released on June 21st. Now, when nobody really knows for sure when the league season starts, which teams will definitely be able to play, Celtic want the fixtures announced earlier than ever. They've been quiet for too long, and now shite starts to come out. Oh, almost forgot, they also think that they have more power than the government to say what is going to happen with playing our league(s).
  18. There is every likelihood that the Scottish Cup will not be played until crowds are allowed back into grounds. European competitions are played by teams from countries who are out of season, so there is a precedent for asking Hearts to play without match experience. If they didn't like it at the time, they could withdraw from the competition.
