  1. No sure if Ryan is on Fife’s Finest or not, really not the point, the boy is a moron. After the chair incident, he tried to pick up a wheelie bin as well. On that Fife’s Finest group, majority of the behaviour is just plain embarrassing, men in their 50 and 60s who act like they have just had their first drink, but really nothing they do is all that sinister and they do a lot of fundraising too. All mostly decent fellas indivually, although personally rather not get in the same area as them at a game.

That was one of the best seats in Scottish football if you struck it lucky and got a cracking day weather wise in Late August.

Always seem to remember either mostly been in the terracing along the side of the pitch or in the main stand. And usually it was pissing down.

Do recall watching a game from outside the ground behind the goals from the car park late 90s/early 00s though.

There's a YouTube video up showing his best bits, some goal against Alloa.

I remember him splitting opinions at Raith? Seemed to score some decent goals though.

Almost like an exaggerated version of Callachan, most thought of him as a decent player, but when he left us his importance to the team really started to show. Unlike Callachan though he could score some really good goals.

Hope he is pish for the pars

  4. To be fair they were always our main rivals probably up to the 80s or 90s. Remember feeling excited/anxious about playing them during the wullie gray era.  I’m sure we were actually considered  underdogs that season against them, certainly at the start of the season anyway.  They managed to bring a very decent support too, it’s a pity that has dwindled but so has our numbers.

To be fair, it did take East Fife 24 years to reach a Scottish Cup final in 1927 since they were formed in 1903 and a full 35 years to actually win it in 1938.  Also, it took 45 years before winning their first League Cup outright (no penalty shoot outs in those days).   47 years to reach their 3rd Scottish Cup final (it was an embarrassment not to win in front of 118,000), 48 years to win their 2nd League Cup outright (still no penalty shoot outs) and 51 years to win a 3rd League Cup final (yes, no penalties again).

Crap really, doesn't compare to the mighty Raith Rover's accomplishments.  They won the league cup on penalties, which is something the Fifers didn't achieve in any of their cup finals!  6 goes at it, but no bragging rights on winning a penalty shoot out final.  Don't forget that the Rovers failed to win on penalties however, in their only Scottish Cup final in 1913, 30yrs after their formation.

Ha ha ha ha ha. What a diddy

  6. Remember being pissed off him during the season as I’m sure he was threatening to refuse to play with us as he went for a trial down south (Norwich??). Anyway he was our only shining light that season, minding him ripping Falkirk apart at home early on, outstanding performance. Was a decent bloke too, hope the wee man pulls through.

Dont mind a bit of black humour, the thing about doing it to close to the event is you might get away with it if it’s actually humorous. If it isn’t you end up looking a bit like a p***k

  7. Had no idea who the f**k ticklefeet was despite going to the rovers for the last 30 years. After the description and the photos, its clear who it is, everybody called him Wheels in Kirkcaldy.  Polis wouldn't let cars down Pratt st after the game but c**t was worse than getting hit by a double decker at the speed he used to go down there.

  8. Can't quite work out SuperHoors logic. I'm sure a few weeks ago he was arguing that Lewis wasn't that good and he wouldn't be a huge loss, he is also stating that he is injury prone now. But if we sell him to a team like Killie or Dundee we will also have a sell on clause in the contract. Where is exactly is an average injury prone player going to go from the premier league that will eventually get us a good cut out if it in your opinion?

Just out of interest what level do you think his ability can take him to?

Evening all, just incase any of you were thinking of heading through to Broadwood tomorrow (hardly the most attractive option, I know) the admission prices are £5 for adults and under 12's are free. Unfortunately, there's nothing on our website, that I could see, about a concessions gate.

Was looking for prices earlier. Cheers.

Will be first visit in probably 15-16 years.
