Aye seemingly don’t know why they were down as trialists but results mean nothing right now , what I’m wondering is why the new stand is not up for away support as that was meant to be the legacy of the Scottish cup run and badly needed but seems like it’s not happening , I don’t know who’s is making decisions doon the brae but the signing on fees and weekly wages will only put the club into serious trouble , mick who has his critics on here would have made sure that the away enclosure was put up as he was always one for the improvements off the park as well as on it and while I’m on I went and watched East Kilbride at the weekend and it’s as good a non league team as I’ve ever saw with loads of ex darvel players and additions which I’m sure mick would have brought to darvel , not keeping him will be one massive mistake doon the brae but hopefully Tony can make us competitive in what looks like a very open league this year in which Clydebank , pollok , beith , darvel , st cadocs and hurlford if they can keep free from injuries and suspensions will all fancy their chances , can’t see anyone else challenging

Don’t know how good a side Camelon are but I was very impressed with East Kilbride today , I’d be pretty confident that squad will Win the league ,some of the football played was a joy to watch

Nothing to report last few months , I’d imagine we will Be hard to beat and some Good signings and as I dont watch friendlies as they mean hee haw apart from management getting to know players and players getting some fitness I can’t comment , by the end of September I’d imagine I will have better idea of how season will pan out

If what I’m hearing is true to keep him at the club for 2 years will be costing darvel in the region of 80k plus for his services , now that’s more than some players are on at Killie , livingston for example , by all accounts he’s a good guy and no doubt he’s a top Player but that’s obscene for this level of football

It seems to be most players want away but u will never Hear that coming from their social media , my brother asked if the goalie was away on their fb page and was barred
, the money they have gave mcshane to stay is obscene for this level and in fact most weeks the gates won’t cover his wages , big Andy is a good signing but 4-5 years ago he would have been an unbelievable signing but going by all Reports he sold more goals last season than he did in the previous 9 so no doubt Talbot got the best of him
mcinally has his work cut out that’s for sure

I would imagine no , I think mcinally will get the transfer fees when the club sells players to whoever but I’d imagine the big signings are things of the past but as we say time will tell

Well plenty will be off to ek a few retiring and others have asked away also , I’d imagine won’t leave very many , gives mcinally a clean slate and he can bring in his own players , I don’t envy him this job and he should have been installed weeks ago given him a fair crack of the whip , he’s behind the black ball from the get go but I’d imagine sideserf , mcann etc will end up at darvel but certainly interesting times ahead

Obviously no who they wanted as he applied at first wave of applications however good luck to him , he’s no going to be left with many players so it will be a total rebuild , and hopefully no a long contract he’s got

Fair play to the glens who got a bit of luck along the way , for the linesman to give a goal then disallow it im no so sure I’ve seen that before and fwiw I didn’t think it had crossed the line but u can’t change ur mind surely , difference between the teams was Moffat Who showed his class with 2 classy finishes , darvel huffed and puffed but with no pace at the back we are always liable to lose goals , next 2 games are pivotal or it’s going to be a long season
