Your right Al covid is here to stay , just like you get flu every year the same is going be with covid.

I have had 3 jabs and wear a mask when required what more can I do!

Theres going to be a time when we will just have to live normally and see what pans out.

If your fate is to catch it after 3 jabs then that’s it.

People just can’t go into hibernation every winter.

Interesting  Leitch is wetting his pants about the cup final crowd but not about another 50000 crowd in Glasgow today…wonder who he is a fan of.

  2. Yep. Still believe we are good enough to climb table a bit but confidence is low and how do you get it back? Another game where we had the larger share of possession but cannot convert the possession into goals and that then puts the pressure on the defence. Can see Cowdenbeath picking up a player or two in January with their managers connections, we need to find a player from somewhere. Midfield not good enough and Cameron’s long term absence not going to help. Worrying times.

  3. I get your point entirely but if you were the ‘authorities’ there is more to it than just rearranging a game at short notice every time there is a storm forecast? Midweek games for all lower league clubs in the winter are a financial disaster, due in part to low attendances and loss of hospitality etc.

  4. Think Kelty bus got stuck somewhere as there was going to be a delayed kick off, if the game went ahead. Authorities would want it played quick to avoid fixture congestion at the end of the year.  Can be fine at this time of year and shit in March! Trip Elgin have made many a time, seen the north players not get home till 5 in morning on more than one occasion. Welcome to the realities of playing in the Scottish Leagues I guess.

Kelty, or more specifically their general manager, have said that they want to become self sustainable (to avoid a Gretna scenario).

it’s easy to do that, as long as they accept it’s not a level at which they are operating at just now. They don’t have the fan base for that, unless another benefactor appears.

Totally agree and have said many times before. Your level eventually will be dictated by your fanbase unless you have a steady stream of money men.

  6. Wasn’t at game and live stream didn’t work but from the highlights I saw, we had enough chances to take something from the game. In a League of fine margins our inability to take chances and again losing a sloppy goal is hurting us. Hopefully the heads stay up and the tide will turn🤞

  7. Everything points to a Forfar win. Confidence is low and we are not scoring and conceding sloppy goals, one being the consequence of the other. Still think we are a comfortable mid table team but I’m sure Cowdenbeath and Stenhousemuir supporters say the same, we can’t all be right! Need to start winning ugly, as we are no doubt in a relegation battle. Unless we are dire, given a break or two, we are capable of getting something from the game, howling gale might be a leveller. Head 3-0 Forfar, heart 2-1 Elgin.

Just back from the game. Firstly, well done to Albion, a thoroughly well drilled performance and some good away support too. We got off lightly with a 4-0 defeat.

City were bloody abject. Shocking. A terrible first half which left the crowd in silence. Apart from Robbo, I can scarcely remember any of the other 14 players creating any impact whatsoever. Quite how Shanley got a start ahead of Ouzy is a mystery. Not sure what was wrong with Innes Murray (who was at the game) but he was badly missed.  Jinky Hilton has had one good game for the club, completely anonymous tonight and got hooked at half time.

Chairman Brown laughably said in the Evening News that the club are still aiming for the play-offs. At this rate it'll be the relegation play-offs he's talking about.

Naysmith's decision to dismantle last seasons squad (which made the play offs don't forget) is now coming home to roost.

264 hardy souls there tonight. I'm predicting less than 200 against Stranraer next week based on tonights sh*t show. Dark days for City.

Elgin’s decision to stay with the same squad that made the play offs but were ultimately not good enough, is coming home to roost!

Especially with the 'laughing 'til I cried' emoji. About a man with dementia.

You completely mis read my post. The laughing emoji is for,IMO the general suggestion that Calderwood and others would be mentioned, nothing to do with his illness. I have the deepest sympathy for him and family as both my parents suffered, from Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s respectively and I often describe it as a living death for the sufferer and living hell for the family. I am a supporter of both their respective charities. That you should question the post and read into it that I was having a go because of his illness completely baffles me. Surely nobody expects Jimmy Calderwood or Scott Brown to be the next Cowdenbeath manager🤔

I think brian reid is genius from Donald. It then means we take a competitor for bottom positions manager and the upheaval it could cause Albion potentially. I like it.

It may be genius on one side of the coin but on the other you will have to pay compensation to Albion, less resources for new manager but a bit extra for Albion, with the winter transfer window coming.

  11. When will Gav realise Soapy is a a striker and obviously disna like playing there yet be repeatedly plays him up there. He put him up front when we were most needing his composure in midfield. Clydebank improved but we helped them with that change alone.
