Did a very good job for Forfar after Bollan left us in a mess at the bottom of a table….
Did the same for Elgin a few years ago.

Your always good for some kind words but I fear this will be the season you see a visit to BB in a new light.

You not worried yet? Only Cowdenbeath below us and they cuffed us earlier in the season.

If he ain’t going to play Soapy in there McEwan certainly isn’t the answer, never has been.

Enjoyed the game and thought both teams played some decent football in spells. Stirling took some of their chances and we didn’t, which sums it up.

Draper is injured so you won’t be seeing him.

Not a clue in this League apart from when Kelty play. Albion win but who knows

We’ve signed Jamie Wilson from Falkirk on loan.

Not great for the fans who were planning on travelling to the Saturday game and there will certainly be a lot less Elgin fans in attendance but good exposure for the club and sponsors who are vitally important to Elgin.

Early days and nothing a couple of wins won’t sort. I’ve said over the last couple of years we are no better than a mid table team. As for going stale, I think behind the scenes the cub is progressing, on the field there is a deliberate policy not to have too many changes year on year trying a similar model to Arbroath and Montrose. Goals are a worry though.

You’ll manage with one at the back against us!

Aye we’ve got short memories

Annan have always been a tough team to beat and proving so again this season. As for us there is no doubt we are in a relegation battle but you could say the same for 4 or 5 others. Supporters have to stick with them and management. A couple of wins and things will be brighter. That said a couple of strange selection decisions today?

Injured I believe.

Your team will adopt the same tactics in the not too distant future

Probably a point gained but we need some three pointers to get us up the league.

If I had a pound for every post on this forum blaming the ref for losses in various games I would be bankrolling Elgin into the Champions League. I think you’ll find more of the same from others in the League as the season progresses.

They seem to just be brought in to warm the bench. If I was Mcglynn I wouldn't be pleased and would be recalling them back to Raith.
Unless there is some other reason we as fans don't know about.
Who knows as there is a lack of communication/engagement between the manager and fans i. E no post match interview for a while?
You have to engage and provide dialogue with a small community club such as ours in some shape or form which is severely lacking at present. Digitally in these current circumstances.
Would be good to see a statement from the gaffer on how he looks to put things right and his thoughts as at the end of the day we as fans pay our money and want to see results.
Yes I am not a happy bunny tonight as I don't like seeing our club in the position it is currently under especially for all our board of directors and volunteers at the club due to all the hard work they put in to the give us a football club which I am sure we all appreciate.
They and our fans deserve our club to be in a much better position than we currently are .
Hopefully we are of to a slow start and can start picking up a winning streak to move up the table.
I openly suggested Bollan as a preference with his track record well before he was announced as our manager and he has the experience and ability to turn this around. However I am concerned as we all are with how things are just now and we must improve.
When you look at what Dick has achieved at Arbroath from a bottom league two club to currently sitting third in the championship. It shows what can be achieved at a part time club with the right manager at the helm and Bollan and the team should be aspiring to that level of success. Very inspiring and from a local football manage too.
Hopefully we can bring the good times again back to Central Park
You are quite right to hold up Campbell and Arbroath as an example all us Div 2 clubs should be aspiring to but I suspect there is a vast difference in finance made available to Campbell than Bollan even when they were in Div2 and we all know that is usually the decisive factor no matter how good a coach is at the helm.

Got what we set up for and came for.

No where good enough to beat a high flying giant if a club like yours

Great that you have the catchment area to do that.
Think Fort William would have been delighted with a 3-0 defeat

I suspect because he had one bad gig at Berwick. In this country to some fans that makes you a dud as a manager while in some other countries that is experience on your CV!
