Did you mean to reply to me with that?

I agree with what you're saying, but don't see the direct relevance to my post.

Sorry it was more if you disagreed with oaksoft's comment about the working environment changing. I'm not working at the moment as was made redundant last year, was hoping office culture would have returned by now but so far it seems like most places are doing three days in the office at most, along with "hotdesking" which I'm not a fan of either. Ever since March 2020 I've badly missed the office chat and laughs.

The idea of starting a new job fully WFH cracks me up. I don't have a "home", just a shitey wee flat where I keep my stuff and sleep!

    What laughable rubbish.

You really do inhabit a very different world from that which most people live in.

Great to see the overdue back of masks, but the stuff on here, the running totals of percentages in various shops, is utterly demented.

My preferred working environment, as someone that lives on my own and hates WFH, has been completely obliterated. I'm going to America next month with friends of 25 years from working in a Glasgow office (and I haven't worked with them since 2002). Forming friendships/relationships at work that last that length of time or even at all has now become much harder.

  3. I have ex workmate Celtic fans that accuse me of bias because I use the description "Rangers and Celtic" instead of "Celtic and Rangers". As they don't like "The Old Firm" either I try and keep a running balance of both terms in their company to ensure a roughly 50-50 split for the sake of harmony.

They'll happily patronise me about my club however, many times.

Luckily as I'm no longer in Glasgow I only see them for a beer about once a year these days. It would be too tiring otherwise.

  4. I'd be in favour if it was used for the initial purpose, i.e. "clear and obvious" decisions that everyone in the ground could see at the time was wrong, not the five minutes of hanging around while some geek matches up offside lines on a computer. The attacker should always be given the benefit of the doubt.

Although Liverpool's VAR penalty at the weekend was given despite no-one noticing the clear foul in the box. Perhaps restrict it to incidents where on second replays only it is a clear error.

Trying to buy tickets for the wee Dublin end but only option I’m getting when trying to check out is to pick tickets up from ticket office. Any idea how to change this.

ETA: Just seen we can pay at the gate so will probably just do that

It was an e-ticket for the first game. Obviously that was too convenient for people. A long queue and a missed kick-off it is then.
