You wouldnt be telling me porkies....would you?
No - I'd much rather have a decent away support: ScotRail services to be slashed despite RMT strike cancellation - BBC News

I really like Ayr United They remind me so much of ourselves, Brilliant fans, Beautiful old school fashioned traditional ground and a superb away day, There fans again were brilliant today and me and my young daughter couldn’t stop laughing at them all in fancy dress, You lot always bring through a great healthy crowd and atmosphere and enjoy your day, Always has been great mutual respect between the clubs especially last season when there fans showered us in so much compliments so it’s great to see themselves doing brilliant this season, All the best for the rest of the season guys
Onto the game I honestly didn’t feel we deserved to lose as we played well and looked pretty comfortable and it certainly had a draw written all over it until the daft penalty, Just shows you how crazy this league is when again there is nothing really much between the teams, Our striker issue though continues to haunt us, We can be as creative and energetic as we like but without somebody to put it in the net we are always going to struggle unfortunately and sadly it’s such a far cry from last season when we were scoring for fun ️
Arbroath lads in the pub after the game buying us jagerbombs and having a right carry on with us, superb. There's definitely a mutual respect based on what you did trying to catch Killie last season and what we are doing recently.

Just gave the team bus a leaving cheer with our flag outside Tutties, become a tradition over the years. Looks like LB enjoyed it

Possibly, but if not the main pie shop at the back of the stand for away fans only will be open.
Cheers, was just hoping I could queue while watching the game.

I'm not so sure - with the world cup on some locals might want to see a good cup tie to make up for the lack of club football. They appeared to get a decent crowd for their own tie in the last round.

Ayr United supporters will enter via Turnstile 1 and have sections A and B in the CoelBrew Main Stand, and the Pleasureland End round to the Pie Hut.
Will that Pie Hut be open?

The goals from Saturday are 2:48 in.

Ayr v Pollok might be a potential TV selection? Especially after tonight.

Hopefully its Pollok. Not sure of their crowd sizes but I'd expect a decent away support on a day out aka a bender. As funny as it is seeing the likes of Falkirk and Dunfermline in League One it feels like we're in that league this season given the pitiful away followings.

Could see Houston possibly getting dropped, although McAllister not really an improvement in my eyes, Houston's biggest issue is consistency (or lack of)
McAllister has an ankle injury according to the Ayrshire Post, although doesn't sound like it is serious.

On my way to the toilet just after the first goal I was chased through the concourse by two young stewards, one male, one female who said that CCTV had identified me as vaping in the stand, although after I gave them a "WTF" stare they hastily admitted that it might be a case of mistaken identity. I did explain to them I wouldn't have had the foggiest idea how to vape.
They replied that if I wasn't the guilty party then I should report any spectators near me if I saw them vaping when returning to the stand

I think the McMullen goal was extremely important. Didn’t look like the 2 strikers would score in 10 games and there’s always the danger heads go down, particularly if Ayr had nicked 1.
Long journey home for the Ayr lads but there’s always your sisters to ride when you get there.Your city is a tip.

Yes you're three points off the top and the top half is very tight yet some on here claim things may get "poisonous" or "toxic" if you go behind. Some support.

Marvyn I reckon.

I was talking during the game on Saturday about the last time we had scored five in the league at this level and couldn't for the life of me remember. It took P&B to remind me I was at that Tannadice game and I'd watched it completely sober. Getting old sucks!

If the club want to persuade more people to attend matches then having a decent highlights package on Youtube to show them what they're missing is absolutely vital.

I'm not involved anymore (offered my services as usual, club not interested). Games now filmed by same people who do match commentary and interviews so... who knows? It's a real shame that Ayr don't provide highlights comparable to our peers (and clubs in leagues below) - particularly when we are doing so well.
Of course, any criticism from me will be put down as sour grapes so I'm best keeping quiet. 16 years was a good run for me and lots of fun times.
Old Ayr United Highlights Channel
is defunct. I've offered to move control of it to the Club in several meetings - again no interest. I've simply kept it up because it would be churlish to do anything else.
is where the current interviews etc. appear.
All those seasons where we've been diabolical and you have been there every week covering what little highlights there were, but now that we appear to be having our best season in years your services are no longer required?? I'm not getting that at all. Especially given the club are trying to reach out to as many people as possible within the community.

Anyone know when the BBC will announce the next round of televised games? I think the last of the current batch is on Friday night.
Will there also be a black-out during the world cup of league games ?
Two more announced at the end of the month but don't include us. Obviously saving us for the big Championship finale..

The game won't be in any danger with all this rain will it?
Should be fine, was wet this morning but sun and showers this afternoon and forecast again for tomorrow. Will be windy though.

Same for every team I suppose. Partick will be fizzing about dropping points at home to Cove then getting turned over by Falkirk in the cup which was quite funny for the rest of us.

Its not so much a cash turnstile but a cash booth outside the away end like QOS that makes more sense.
