  1. Fact we're talking about 4 or 5 leaving - 3 of them double winners and list doesn't include Crawford or McPherson - and it'll have very little impact to the team just shows how much dead wood we have.

you could add Olufunwa and McClelland to that list and you'd barely notice the difference either.

Glad the new management team are being brutal, we really need a fresh start.

Kane and may were 100% fit today. Clark lucky if was 50%. Tells a story. No turner cooke there today either

I'd actually be ok with this, but why did we give Kane until the end of the season just a few weeks ago? To me it would've made sense to let Kane go at the end of his short term contract as it seems clear he either can't be bothered or his body (or maybe mind) isnt coping with the stresses of full time football any more.

Jay Turner Cooke should've been out the door at the same time as Costelloe. He's just no where near the team and just taking up a wage and a squad place.

  3. Awful from Saints. Very lucky to get a point. Thankful we played Motherwell who looked like a team missing a number of players, but we really couldn't have complained if we'd lost that by a couple.

Bair scoring was funny, still looks like he's never seen a football before at times but that run of starts he's had has definitely been of benefit to him.

Might just be me, but definitely feel progress has been made with the squad in this window. 3 players who didn't really contribute out and the two signings we've seen look like they'll contribute, the other two are promising young players.

another striker to come. I hope we can add more pace in wide areas too as that still feels like a significant issue to me.

  5. Not being funny, but who in their right mind are going to take Jephcott or Brown? They're just nothing footballers.

If Ballantyne is willing to drop a level or two - he'd be well advised to now I think as that's what awaits in the summer anyway - then he might go.

The previous two dumpling managers really have built up a massive stack of shite that we're just completely stuck under.

Don't think he likes Accies fans all that much either. I wouldn't be surprised if we're one of the teams interested in Stevie May, though it's unlikely we'd be able to sign him.

Oh I don't know. Depends who's all in for him but seems like he's well down the pecking order with us now and Levein is talking about signing another striker too. Any half decent offer we'll consider and May is the type that'll want to play IMO.

  7. Given the mess we've been left in by the gang last season, I've always been satisfied with staying up this season, by any means necessary really. I supported the appointment of Levein as I thought he'd be pragmatic and play our best players in their best positions to try and get us out of the mire. I'm still hoping that's what happens, but have to admit that I'm worried we've landed ourselves another philosophy manager (or coach as Kirk seems to set up the team) that just looks to play a certain way regardless of what the reality is in respect of the squad.

Happy to give the current set up to the end of the season and, if we stay up, the summer window and beyond to see where we are at this point next year. It's not far off being a blank canvas in the summer so will be extremely disappointed if we still look like we're circling the drain (if we don't succumb this season) without any real signs of progress at that point. Appreciate there will be another huge turnover of players and a bedding in period required for that team too.
