  1. You mean the bit about you not having a compliant stadium, but being allowed to get promoted anyway. I suspect that if you had put money into the stadium, you may not have had a good enough squad to get promoted.
  2. You have told us here what you would do, but not how you would do it(which is what I asked) and how would you decide what is “capably”
  3. It was either going to be that or give them the absolute minimum. I think it shows that Colin Weir isn’t going to fund our ongoing operational costs in any way. In the scheme of the investment he has made/will make in January, an extra £100K seems small. 8000 x £25 split 50/50.
  4. How does he do that. Or, how would you go about that ? If he wants to throw his money about, what can we do about it.
  5. There ain’t one part of my post that says I support what he has done. I just offered an opinion on how he might have made his decision. It does you no credit not to recognise that.
  6. I think it is unfair to call it incompetence. How would he have the experience to know what is best way to run a football club or any business for that matter ? Maybe he trusted what Jacqui Low was planning at the club. If he recognised the mess we were in, he wouldn’t have reacted the way he did.
  7. It’s not really surprising though. It wasn’t Weir that sacked JLows board in the 1st place.
  8. On Saturday, Garscube Road was closed at Dobbies Loan due to roadworks. Meant you had to go straight on to Maryhill Road. Don’t know if those roadworks are still ongoing.
  9. As has been mentioned lower level clubs raise their game, but generally only get one bite at the cherry. I fully expect Arbroath and Morton to win the replays.
  10. If you decide in the morning to get a ticket on line. What is the process to collect it ?
  11. Has he never won a match vs Dundee or only when he was with Utd ?
  12. He might have been on the bench on Saturday, but whenever he came out for a warm up, it looked like he could hardly walk.
  13. Interesting that the article had his target as survival last season - not promotion as we were told
  14. It is more likely the kick off time keeps folk away.
  15. I have heard a number of people say that, yet in the brief highlights I don’t think he was mentioned at all
  16. Is it not just the case that everything has been said, until there is some more news ?
  17. Actually thought he was quite poor 1st half. Couldn’t hold on to the ball and when he did was easily dispossessed - but like the rest of the team was much better once Robson and Mansell came on.
  18. Not sure of the timeline, but it is possible that the £200K was extra as a result of Fitzpatrick and Lindsay deals. However, under old board this year’s spending was going to result in deficit. New board comes in and redirects Fitzpatrick and Lindsay money to get rid of the deficit ?
  19. I thought they made it clear why they think Thistle. It costs a lot less in Scotland to get a club into Europe than in France or England. And there is a large potential fan base in Glasgow. Whether this is true or not is another question.
  20. I guess he must be counting the league cup as pre season training? It starts 5 weeks yesterday
  21. Businesses do it all the time on the back of bad news. It normally goes along the lines of “Operations won’t be affected”
  22. Would that not negate the reason they are not going to use it ?
  23. There should be, but it took us until January to get any kind of back up or alternative.
