I think CBM would be better in a 3 man central midfield. He doesnt have the pace required in a 2, but on the other hand he is the best passer of a ball we have and best set piece taker, so that compensates.

A bit of revisionism going on there about the Morecambe season under Robinson / Adams. Robinson achieved 30 points from 32 games that season, Adams 12 points from 13, so virtually the same.

When he was made some sort of diversity ambassador by the SFA, i queried on here whether his conviction made him a suitable candidate for such a role, and was roundly shouted down, mainly by Livi fans who seemed to think his anti racism work over compensated.

McMenamin is a good player but he has been off it the last couple of games. It would be interesting to see what players were affected by the sickness bug. Robbo has said that one of the players was throwing up at half time v Hibs, yet there were no sub made at that point. Even if players had supposedly recovered, illnesses like that can take it out of you, which maybe explains the sluggishness yesterday - our style is based on high intensity pressing from the front, which didnt happen yesterday, with the entire front line hooked at half time. Personally, i think yesterday would have been the time for squad rotation and putting out a team that was 100% fit.

There is literally zero chance of Hibs being in the bottom 2 this season. Going by tonight, you are probably the best side we've played this season outside the old firm, if you sort the defence in January you should be looking at top 6 and probably Europe again.

Agree with all of this. Richard Taylor is another who has massively improved. To think there were posts on here just over a year ago to say Robinson had lost the dressing room and players didnt like him.
