So will Beale get that time. I get that there is still good will towards him as he's not been there a full season, but will he get the same slack if you don't win the league next year? Gerrard was on a bit of sticky wicket before Lennon's implosion and he was a big name.

Also do you think Gerrard, Rio or Beale so far have made your squad stronger when they left (or today with Beale) than when they arrived?

I think that a lot of these players are just the same old same old.

I thought Beale was very disrespectful when he said they're only two good teams in the league, that kind of comment will come back and bite him.
Even if they win the Scottish cup it's the same as last season if they don't it's regression.
If he keeps buying jobbers from the English leagues hes bang in trouble.

He should have gone after the 6-0 game clearly something was wrong and the players had chucked it for him. I think it is fair to say that he left you in a better place then when he arrived. But absolutely his time had come

Aberdeen finishing 10th last season didn't give him any grace plus losing Ferguson and Ramsay puts him on the back foot, He gets to the world cup break only losing one game at home in the league scoring 4 and 5 goals against Livvy,Killie,Hibs and you guys, the results after the world cup are very poor but for me the improvement on last season was very clear plus bring in decent replacements going forward but trigger happy McCormack had seen enough.
For me Jim was hard done by,picking up the mess left from Glass, sold his best players, started to build a decent squad plus results were always going to be indifferent he should've been judged at the end of the season IMO.

It’s just a nonsense take though. You don’t actually respond to what I disagree with, you change and evolve it.

I simply said that I disagreed that it should be questionable that Tav was our biggest goal threat yesterday and have explained why (he is consistently an attacking threat for us).

You have this notion that he shouldn’t be our main attacking threat in a match because of his position. Why not, if he is consistently an attacking threat from right back? You’ve never really responded to that.

You’ve implied we have an over-reliance on him. I already showed that he is responsible for less of an overall percentage of goals than your leading attacking threat.

Even if we take matches against you in isolation. Of our last 20 goals scored against you, Tav has scored a grand total of… 3.

So yeah, I think you trying to paint that we have an over-reliance on him, even in Celtic fixtures in isolation, is a bit nonsense.

Would agree for the first bit the first half hour especially we struggled to get passed out our defence. Naturally the game opened up more especially after the goal but quite simply Hart and Starfelt aren't capable of playing that style of football at a higher level when in possession. I think Ange knows this though and apparently we are on the hunt for a more suitable keeper. As for Rangers* as much as Beale is an absolute weapon in the press he does seem to know how to set up tactically but tbh their team will be totally different so no idea what to really make of them going ahead.

Strange take on Hart and Starfelt when it was CCV and Mooy giving the ball away yet sevco couldn't take advantage of that, If sevco don't want to pay the 5 million for Tillman Celtic should pay it.
Hart is coming to the end of his career not quite at McGregor's lapses, both teams will need new keepers.
Beale setting up to stop Celtic playing is something that every manager in the league is trying to do,it's easier to destroy than create,Celtic scoring 3 means it didn't work so back to the drawing board for the tactical genius.

In real time Clancy could have seen it as a push, 60,000 celtic fans screaming at him may or may not have helped that decision.

The pressure that the VAR teams have been under this season from celtic and the media doesn't help, they know that they'll have weeks of hassle if celtic don't like a decision.

Rather a club than asking for a explanation,  the SFA should allow refs to explain decisions in either interviews or a report on their website.

Allowing Sky to hear the decision making from the referees and not the clubs is a major problem.
Skulduggery in case the wording they use can be bias.

A Celtic fan talking about another team having a clear narrative around refereeing decisions? A team who’s fans claim institutional bias against them on an almost weekly basis, who have club employees writing the foreword for a book called ‘Anyone But Celtic’ (lol) and ex-players in the media spouting nonsense about decisions going against Celtic after almost every game. A bit of self awareness wouldn’t go amiss.

Neil Lennon was the best at it, I've said many times on here small country small mentality, the polarized view is part of the game not just for the fans but also people in the game.

VAR was never overturning the decision. There’s a clear push from Morelos, even though Johnston did make it look worse than it was.

The not much in it,two players are as bad as each other argument doesn't stand up in a clear and obvious error for Var to get involved.
Plus Beale and the captain coming out after the game saying it hit Jota's hand is a clear narrative.

To think I've seen people have a go at Rangers fans when they complain about mediocrity,  how can you accuse the Bears of glory hunting after today? Giving us a game is now a moral victory for them. They created next to nothing but they disrupted our game so their tactics are now being lauded

But Beale is a tactical genius, it's no secret how Celtic play give him time he will get it right.
Letting them win the dead rubber at Ibrox will have the spin puppets in overdrive.
The mind the gap fans has increased, if buts and maybes.

  9. Rangers fans are wanting to get back to the way they played under Slippy G,they don't realize that wasn't good enough either.
Beale asking Tillman to mark McGregor off the ball took away his threat when they had the ball he couldn't change his mindset,Cantwell was the same most of his good work was in his own half,Kent didn't turn up again waste of a jersey.
