What display are you posting about David?

Why would you figure that I condone or partake in songs about child abuse? You don’t think anyone should criticise a set of fans of a Scottish football club setting up a massive display celebrating an Irish terrorist organisation?
What are you posting about David?

Balls tbh. If a team were repeatedly singing racist stuff there would be sanctions.
Why would a team sing racist stuff M8?

And for the record I include Hearts in that. Sectarian singing should be punished.
You can't punish people for freedom of expression even if it's offensive M8.

I take it, that's the tifo fecked.

Are you actually upset or offended by him using the term "other mob"? Really?
Considering the names that I've been called simply for saying I'm a Rangers I'd say that was some sort of massive snowflake problem.
2 Trophies in 12 years is acceptable for the best team in Scotland M8.

I know you’re not, and I’m not disagreeing that our squad has been stale for some and needed refreshing. I just think this specific example regarding Morelos you appear to have taken my separate points out of context and used them to make it seem like I have been contradictory, when I haven’t.
Ok M8 I'll put it another way since Morelos has been at sevco Celtic have sold Dembele, Eduard, Klimala,Bayo and GG just in that specific position now we have Kyogo.
Giving that strikers are a premium in the market you would've thought that he should've been moved on.
There's a massive difference to what Celtic are doing compared to sevco M8.0 -

You’re speaking with the benefit of hindsight though. Of course I was happy that we kept Morelos, but that is only under the assumption that he stays with us (extends his contract). As soon as it became apparent that he wasn’t likely to sign a new deal, we should’ve moved him on, about 18 months ago.
I'm not just posting about Morelos M8 but I'm sure I mentioned this about 18 mouths ago about the make up of the squad yet nothing has changed, this summer is massive for sevco they need to get it right if they're going to compete for the title.
In terms of the game tomorrow and what Neil Lennon is saying the only player that I think could get sent off is Johnstone v Kent listening to McGregor's presser all he talks about is staying calm in the moments.
Celtic will try to blow sevco away in the first half if Sevco are still in the game at half-time they have a chance, keeping the tempo high with the subs going into the last 20 minutes will also be key to Celtic winning,if the refs allows tackles to fly in, it's easy to see a sending off or a pen.
This is just foresight then after the game you can call it hindsight M8.0 -

Not unlike you to portray my comments incorrectly.
In my post you quoted, I said we should’ve cashed in on Morelos when his stock was high. I previously said we shouldn’t sell Morelos in January this season. He had 6 months left on his contract, the fee would be negligible and he is currently playing well.
To translate that for you: his stock is not high and he is more valuable to us playing well in the team until the end of the season rather than get a nominal fee.
My point was more to do with the proactive nature of selling players than letting them run their contracts down.
Sevco didn't act and you were happy with that at the time, now they find themselves needing to replace a big chunk of the squad, kicking the can into the summer.0 -

Yep, it signifies that we have held onto a core squad too long and needed a refresh way before now.
In relation to the trading model though, I'd say we are approaching Celtic's level in that regard. We are still nowhere near as good as them at it, but if you consider in the last 2 years, players sold will net us ~£41.5M in comparison to Celtic's ~£45M then we are on the right track.
Taking into account we should've cashed in on players such as Morelos and Kent when their stock was high, we could've done a lot better.
We invested heavily in putting together a squad to win the league yet have seemed to blindly believe that squad would remain competitive without any turnover and investment. Foolish to expect that, considering we are a way behind Celtic in terms of resources.
Strange post from you,you seem conflicted about keeping players and selling players i'm sure you said it was better to keep Morelos this season?
Between aging players and players out of contract this summer Sevco have a major rebuild.0 -

This is spot on. Apart from when they're playing teams down at the very bottom of the league, I want the OF to win every week. A rival beating them is a disaster, as it's three points you probably won't make up.
Feck off.

Exactly, the small sample size of you guys who post on here do not represent the majority of old firm fans. You likely have more of an interest in the rest of us, but those who do make the types of comments I referred to are tone deaf.
One of you also said it isn’t something that’s played up by the media, i regularly hear the “pundits” on sportsound spew out things like “Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have a responsibility to put pressure on the old firm” or words along those lines.
I think Jinky is right thou if we go on to other threads we get told to feck off so the perception is wrong from you diddies, I've got no problem with you jumping in here.

I’m not Willy no, not sure how you’ve reached that opinion.
Pie and Bovril isn’t the the be all and end all you know? I made my comments based on my experience, some defensive Celtic fans getting on their high horse won’t change that
It wasn't an opinion M8 it was a question, I think most fans on here have a passing interest in the game in Scotland, pie & Bovril gets the views from different fan-bases that's it's charm.

The vast majority of old firm fans don’t have a clue about my team because they don’t care about us, which is fair enough, I just despise when they pretend to.

I’ve posted here for years and I don’t think I’ve ever before posted such a thing to another poster. Believe me I wouldn’t do it lightly because it’s not the route I want to go down.
You can make whatever quip you like, I’ve told you I’m angry. And I’ve told you what I think of you. Slap yourself on the back if you think of it as a win.
If the sport is making you angry it's maybe best you call time on it M8, they're loads of reason why we still go to the games winning isn't the main thing or the result.
My first game was in 1978 and I was hooked,So many changes since then some good some bad,it's very easy to get angry at the modern game but too many good memories and new ones to stay away.0 -

Wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference, most of what is posted about Celtic and Rangers these days doesn’t come from fans of either club.
Every thread on there is about sevco M8,I'm sure there was a need for it at one time don't see a need for it now.

Well, he clearly didn’t see it, as evidenced by his decision to award the penalty after VAR showed it to him. I’m not sure where you are going with this Willy.
It would be interesting to know what he was looking at to miss it M8, I tend to think the ref follows the play,I think he did see it but didn't think it was a foul on first view seeing it again makes him change his mind.

It was, which is why the VAR got them to award the penalty.
So you believe the ref didn't see it yet it was blatant makes sense, making him look incompetent.

Relying on the ref to correctly award a foul? Well, he never seen it initially so he failed in that regard.
You said it was blatant M8, a bit of a contradiction.

Travelling to Spain on Sunday will miss this one, expect Celtic to score 3 or 4 seems to be the norm.

The Celtic fans on here are very aware of the songs that are sung at each game from the home and away support most of them are intended to offend.
Don't bring it up if you're not willing to debate about it M8.
