  1. Cosgrove is physically bigger than jesus must have been, but McInnes is a wee titch so likely jesus would be a bigger lad
  2. All comps he got 47 in 103, which is an even better ratio! An astonishing turn from McInnes frankly, on a par with the feeding of the five thousand.
  3. Hahaha you’ve been done a belter there and McDanger wasn’t even trying! happens to the best of us friend
  4. The type of player is almost as important as the calibre. We need pace and energy up front, not just for the danger it poses on its own, but to make space and room for our other players to play in. Ramirez has been doing the job of two up there at times and struggling as a result. With the threat of someone fast over the top, defences will sit 5-10 yards deeper and Ramirez can then get more involved with the buildup. Then against the defences which will sit deep anyway, lower table teams, JET can come in to try to pick the lock. Its horses for courses, and right now we need them in. Obviously Id love to sign Mo Salah but frankly Im just encouraged about the profile coming in. Bowie seems more prolific, but you never know with the young loanees, sometimes a coach can get a tune out of a player with raw ability but hasnt shown their best yet, and glass has certainly proved so far he can do just that. Naturally you back whoever they choose to bring in.
  5. Now youre getting closer to the truth, certainly could do with a trim!
  6. 550k plus 5% sell on fee hibs will bite our hands off FAO Dave
  7. Souttars passing was VERY good. give me him over plug Porteous any day of the week Beningime also very handy, although I thought we were the better team over the course. JET plays like that every week and hes still at Arsenal, unfortunately we just cant rely on him. great to watch though. Souttar and halkett marshalled Ramirez very well, hell get more change out the lesser teams. Alternatively, we could sign another attacker to play alongside him. his touch is still really good and was involved in the goal. Chuffed for Campbell. was handed a tricky hand and he played really well.
  8. JET is being hung out to dry a bit by our lack of another option up top. Playing in games like last night where he’s completely unsuited. We play him v smaller teams like Rovers and we get a glimpse of what he’s capable of. Glass/Cormack need to bring in another option up top ASAP to allow Glass to use the squad properly.
  9. That certainly is a pisser! Hope you’re on the mend soon min
  10. I thought Ojo really helped us get a foothold in the game in the last 25. Only one in our team who managed to control the ball properly on that park. 1-zip not the end of the world. We knew it would be tough, and the surface, ref, thuggy players, heat never helped us. I believe. We still need another striker though. JET cannot start v teams like Qarabag.
  11. I managed to convert a *** from my school to the Dandies by taking him to that fucking Sigma game! I said to him, if you enjoyed that youll fuckin love supporting the dons!
  12. this is tricky for us because we’ve re-signed just about everyone we let go. Strong in midfield, but lacking at the back. Danny Ward - automatic pick in goals. Wales’ best player at the Euros Max Lowe - relegated from the prem with Shef Utd but still a very solid LB Scott McKenna - Scotland international centre half. Notts Forest supporters are big fans Joe Shaughnessy - decent option at centre half. Was fine with him returning when he was rumoured. Graeme Shinnie - best of a bad bunch at Derby C under Wazza Rooney. Would love to have him back. Playing at RB due to a lack of options Kenny McLean - Premier League superstar Ryan Christie - one third of a very attacking midfield in this team James Maddison - Premier League superstar Ryan Fraser - Premier League superstar GMS - still alright, need another option out wide Marley Watkins - was superb in the false nine position last season. Would love him back. All from the top of my head so I’ve likely missed some obvious ones. Nae **** of course.
  13. I’m fully on board with “Glassy” as I’ve decided to call him in the shower
  14. Hard to applaud Fergie leaving when I won’t be born for seven years. Celtic won nine in a row in the seventies btw…
  15. I dont understand how someone can be so principled about this, one side or the other. Long ago I decided it was better for my blood pressure to simply enjoy the outcome of scots in europe, whatever it was. Old Firm b*****ds win - coefficient points, better for Aberdeen to qualify later, Scotland appearing a stronger league, able to sell our players or TV rights for a little bit more cash, distracts them from domestic cups. Old Firm b*****ds lose - funny, keeps money away from them, more likely to instigate some instability in their ranks, funny, means their supporters are less happy than they were, and its very very funny. UEFA and European competition is broken beyond repair yeah, so if Aberdeen get knocked out I can blame that! But if we get thru, its class! We have upset the odds in a system designed for us to fail! Some folk need to lighten up. The co-efficient bean counters at least offer a valuable service for those that its relevant to. I thank them for it.
  16. Continuing the Abba theme: Oh when youre scoring Pit-toddrie is roaring Teddy Jenks (S.O.S.) That came to me in the shower the other day.
  17. I’m here for it. In that case another striker! What’s Alan Gow up to these days?
  18. Thank f**k for that, I’m not ready for pie and bovril beef! decent result tonight. I’m yet to see this Ojo run but in my heid it’s Maradona v England ‘86. Ace to see Glass manage to get more from these players. defence still a worry though?
  19. hahaaha you can see me in this gif.... but Im not telling where I am!
