Yeh McInnes confirmed Main is out. So if Twitter is correct Anderson is the only senior striker at the club for Saturday. Although he did also say Cosgrove was still in Aberdeen training so maybe a chance he stays for the game Saturday.

Aside from Ojo/McCrorie that's probably as good as we've got. First time since we beat Hibs 2-0 that we've had a front three of Wright, Hedges and Cosgrove.

Yeh definitely an overreaction. We're 4th with games in hand and have beaten our nearest rivals Hibs twice this season. At the start of the season we were arguably playing the best football we've seen under McInnes. And as I said it's utter sh*te right now and allowing both Main and Cosgrove to remain on the pitch together for 75mins is utterly soul destroying. But at the same time sacking him would mean paying the equivalent of Managers wages ×2 for a year and a half when we're on track to get 70+ points again this season. Nowhere near worth it

I don't think we should sack him. We're playing sh*te and have been for a while but we've also been missing key players in every game we've played in the last month and a bit. I won't be surprised if he goes when his contract is up but we are far from being in a crisis that warrants an overreaction like this. We'll probably finish third this season and (miracle season aside) that's as good as any manager could achieve with Aberdeen.

The McCrorie deal is an incredible bit of business. Guaranteed to get either 5+ years of him playing a key role in the team or double/triple what we paid for him. Describing any part of the deal as embarrassing is bizarre considering we will benefit far far more from it than 'they' ever will.
