  1. I hope we fight for 50% and then only sell 10k, but scattered everywhere so the sections can't be resold.
  2. True about the Celtic game, but we'd not had a good seasonin generL, it was a really good Celtic team and we had a smaller core support than we do now. It was 12 years ago and I think we have added a good 3/4k on our average attendance since then. We also had all the off field stuff going on and I don't think many fancied it as expected a boabying.
  3. We sold 17k for the LC. It's naturally a bit less attractive and we had the shambles of tickets being offered in shite sections. Offer us half off the bat and people would have better choice. We are also having a very good season, we'd be close to selling out IMO. We had half against Hibs. We sold about 19k for Inverness at Hampden too. Our fans usually turn up for the Scottish cup
  4. I think half after segregation, hospitality etc is closer to 22k each. Don't think it's beyond us to sell that tbh.
  5. The bit in bold, as much as he was quiet and got frustrated he still had a decent effort first half and was a major influence in the last 20 minutes. His running in behind got Vargas his goal and should've seen him score another just before.
  6. The way they sold that was a disgrace. Best seats held back which led to people not buying the shite ones and therefore not forcing them to open the ones on the curve of the north. This is the SC, it should be 50/50 with no issues. If they have to release it in tranches, leave Rangers with the comedically expensive ones and the ones with shite views
  7. We also never had much depth at all to our squad. We brought Halliday and McEneff off the bench. Our squad now, on the maybe naive assumption we can get a few players back, is much better.
  8. True. Genuinely do expect all the links despite there being nothing in it.
  9. Don't think they can offer pre-contracts 15 months in advance tbf.
  10. I must say blaming Muirhead for the goal seems mental. He maybe gave it away cheaply, but it wasn't far from the Hearts box. He's entitled to think losing it there should see some other team mates cover him.
  11. Not the best of games, but I enjoyed it. First half was pretty blood and thunder for the first 20 or so, and then I felt like we got a bit control without doing too much with it. Second half Morton started well but we got on top pretty quickly. All in all I think Morton showed up really well, certainly no worse than some Premiership teams but they lacked quality in the final third. For a lot of huffing and puffing they only really created one good chance and Gordon done what he does. From an attacking point of view we never created enough, but we still had 4 or 5 big chances. On the balance of play the better team won, but Morton gave a good account of themselves. Loved Cappielow as well, a bit of a throwback.
  12. Scotrail hate Hearts fans trying to attend SC games for some reason
  13. Seemed to f**k that post up so will try again... Looking forward to this. I think we'll go back to 4-3-3 for this. Gordon in for Clark, Sibbick to drop out which is harsh, but don't need the extra defender on a tight pitch against a team we'll be trying to attack. Beni, Devlin/Tait Grant in the middle with Vargas, Forrest and Shanks up top. An early goal would be massive. Puts a dampener on the home support and would force Morton to open up a bit. Not that I think they'll be parking the bus, but they'll be compact and trying to attack when possible. An early goal would mean they can't be as cautious.
  14. Is that statement not completely at odds with what they said on Saturday? They said when Warnock left they were at an advanced stage with the new appointment. Now they are compiling shortlists. I get they might have been caught on the hop a bit but be consistent or it looks badly managed. Also think publicly putting a time limit on their hopes to appoint in the next 2 weeks seems a case of making a rod for their own back. Can't think it's that attractive until you are safe from playoffs. And if they don't get anyone in which might happen for whatever reason, including totally reasonable ones, it has the potential to make them look a bit clueless.
  15. Aye just daft. On a booking against them you don't have that many lives.
  16. Obita was told he was in bother at his next foul after pushing McCausland off the park. It's soft in isolation, but when he's been told it's coming you probably shouldn't commit a foul.
  17. Nieuwenhof out is a blow as he's been really coming onto a game. Kent still out too and that worries me slightly as this'll be a pretty direct game I imagine. Oda, McKay, Boyce & Halkett all still unavailable as well but Vargas is back. Should still be a decent lineup though, wouldn't change much from the Celtic game with the exception of Tait or Devlin in for Nieuwenhof.
  18. Going on about a handball from 2 seasons ago in a game you won and the ref never gave two absolute stonewall penalties without VAR intervention See when these match threads roll around and Celtic fans wonder why we don't have time for them or these games, this is why. Because on the rare occasion you beat them you get days and days of shite about it. Tedious stuff. Can't just get on with it.
  19. We've had 7 penalties against us this season. Quite a few for handball. No sure why you're lumping us in with your "Who's got the smallest dick" argument with Rangers.
  20. Also by talking about refs, Rodgers deflects from focus on his tactics which were frankly poor. We had a grip due to the extra man, and it's difficult but you can still try to mitigate it. Instead, he watched a first half where Celtic, minus McGregor and a man down, really struggled to make an impact in midfield. His way to address that was sacrificing Bernardo for Kyogo which almost completely surrendered the middle of the park and made it much easier for us to manage.
  21. He knows the paranoia around Beaton, he's not daft. Rather than blame Robertson, he calls out Beaton directly. It's piss poor, but not surprising. Amazed he's not said Celtic got a soft penalty anywhere either. Almost as if it wouldn't fit the narrative.
  22. Just catching up with Sportscene. I'd read Rodgers comments, but seeing how deliberate he was in how he delivered them shows he's trying to tap into the tin foil hat wearers amongst the support. Slowing down his speech so he could clearly deliver the words "John Beaton". p***k.
  23. Heart of Midlothian, the Cherry pies.
  24. Good to see wee Tait refuse to be intimated and leave one on Johnson after he was smashed. Dish it out, take it back.
