  1. Joe Hart walking about absolutely fuming after the whistle was delightful. He was genuinely raging.
  2. Celtic's penalty was ultra soft. So was ours. Other than that, I fail to see how they've been hard done by? The red card is a red all day every day. It doesn't have to have malice or intent, but it was clearly dangerous. A high foot, where he extends it and kicks Cochrane in the face, not even like he was ducking. To make it all about the ref is typical Celtic pish. Seen the clip of Lennon basically saying the Celtic one wasn't one, but then said Idah had to do better. That was literally it before he launched into his anti ref nonsense. Even more annoying as it distracts from a good Hearts performance. Even with 11 v 11 we looked the better team. And once it went to 10 we managed the game really well.
  3. I used to stay in the flats behind the away end and tried Giovanni's a few times purely because it was close by, and I agree it's pish.
  4. Pumping incoming. Get out with no injuries and focus on Morton.
  5. I thought it was risky by the defender, but ultimately I didn't think it was a penalty as I thought Boyle was the one that changed his shape slightly to hit him. However, I also said at the time I thought if it had been given it would've stood. Same as I feel about yesterday's. I think the contact is enough for Clancy to stick by it, but if he hadn't gave it VAR wouldn't have intervened.
  6. It wasn't given for contact on the foot, it was for putting his body into his hip. Agreed, not going to be on the same page here.
  7. He made the most of it. It's not a dive though, he doesn't initiate it, he is caught. Blame Fish for being a diddy. Vargas got in behind twice, the offside one wasn't offside, so if he'd not fucked the finish it would've counted. He also robbed Obita and Shankland had a good chipped effort off it. Bushiri produced a good block on a Forrest effort and Nieuwenhof had a great chance where he fucked a header. See what I mean about it growing arms and legs?
  8. It's not scandalous to give a foul for a player making contact with another player and not getting the ball. Aye of course, only Hibs were trying to win it 2nd half. Must've imagined us creating chances and pushing bodies forward.
  9. He's 21 though. That can improve. He's a good player.
  10. Of course it was slightly. Hibs played well for the first half hour and couldn't hold onto the lead for more than 15 minutes. You then had a good response immediately to the goal. 2nd half was very even. We had chances as well as Hibs and you were the ones putting an extra CH on at the end. You also had less possession so never exactly had control of the game. So as I said, slightly. I never said you were delighted.
  11. I was not happy last night. We'd not performed and I was pissed off, certainly wasn't delighted. This performance from Hibs seems to be growing arms and legs as to how much they were in charge though. Rather than just being slightly the better team we are getting spin that they gave us some sort of hiding.
  12. It wasn't even all that far from hitting him, he fortunately seen it coming. VID-20240229-WA0022.mp4
  13. Also, who's taking a full bottle opener with a corkscrew to the fitba? Is it for your bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape on the corteo?
  14. It was, there's a bit video going about of him dodging it. That's genuinely ridiculous, could cause serious damage if you hit someone with that.
  15. I've not seen loads of Boyle recently, just highlights but last night was really noticeable as to how much he's slowed. He was outpaced by Devlin at one point which just wouldn't have happened before. Interesting to see how he adapts given how much of his game has been based on pace.
  16. On the game, watched the highlights back and I think a draw was about fair enough. Hibs had a very good start and we had to weather the storm a bit but after we equalised Hibs had an immediate flurry and then it died down and as much as it felt nervy Clark never had an awful lot to do. If a team can feel hard done by it's probably Hibs, but we also had decent chances and were let down by not having composure in the final third. First half Hibs were the better team, second it was much more even and either team could've nicked it if they'd had a bit calmness about them.
  17. Ours were in the Gorgie end so definitely wasn't them.
  18. True. But equally wouldn't be feeling very honest if I never said it was a joke in the context of the game.
  19. I honestly think we have to consider it. Someone will get hurt. I'd advocate the same for our fans at ER being banned if we done the same.
  20. We were shite, really bad. And yet on balance of real chances it was pretty even. That is easily the worst I've seen from the Hibs end in terms of missiles..yep, we had it too, but not even close to the same volume. Before KO there were flares into the Hearts end and it simply didn't stop
  21. Genuinely surprised at the outrage at the penalty. Clancy gave it, VAR has to prove it's obviously wrong, which it isn't. Soft, aye buy he turns into him and catches him with his hip. A foul outside the box every time.
  22. I think part of the reason we've generally looked worse at the back is the switch to a 4. It makes us look much better in an attacking sense but a bit more open. ultimately though I prefer that as it's more enjoyable to watch, even if it does give you the fear at times.
  23. I don't think Beni will be dropped, but I think Devlin may come in for Grant. I want to see a flat back 4 as well and Forrest and Vargas off of Shankland. Disappointed Oda is aout completely as he'd be a great option off the bench when the game stretches.
  24. Yep, it's madness. 15 LP's is a lot. Means you could pretty much have been to every home game this season and still not have enough. It should be dropped to 5 or something like a buying history outside of Celtic games.
  25. He's not amazing in the air, however on the other hand his decision making on when to engage has came on leaps and bounds and he's one of the best blockers in the league and has great positional sense. He's good foil for Kent. He's another who was terrible Saturday, but he deserves the benefit of the doubt. This defence has been in the main, excellent, all season. We don't have to rip everything up because of one game.
