  1. I don't think Beni will be dropped, but I think Devlin may come in for Grant. I want to see a flat back 4 as well and Forrest and Vargas off of Shankland. Disappointed Oda is aout completely as he'd be a great option off the bench when the game stretches.
  2. Yep, it's madness. 15 LP's is a lot. Means you could pretty much have been to every home game this season and still not have enough. It should be dropped to 5 or something like a buying history outside of Celtic games.
  3. He's not amazing in the air, however on the other hand his decision making on when to engage has came on leaps and bounds and he's one of the best blockers in the league and has great positional sense. He's good foil for Kent. He's another who was terrible Saturday, but he deserves the benefit of the doubt. This defence has been in the main, excellent, all season. We don't have to rip everything up because of one game.
  4. There's not really been chopping and changing outside when it's necessary. Atkinson had a knock earlier in the season and then was at the Asian cup. Boyle, Miller and Bushiri all played against us in the last derby. You've added a few players that look to have improved you, but it's not some all new team we don't know about.
  5. Se should, we are 21 points ahead of them for a reason. However, I understand Hibs have decent attacking options as well and that Montgomery seems to have clicked he can't just play 4-4-2 so we'll need to be at it. Wouldn't be a major shock if we dropped anything, but if we play well I think we should have enough to take advantage of that Hibs backline.
  6. I've seen Hibs fans talking about targeting our RB but I think it's being overplayed massively. Lembikisa and Atkinson are both decent enough. Atkinson was atrocious on Saturday, but so were the rest of the defence and that's not the norm. Atkinson was excellent against Motherwell. He's played well in wins at ER and Parkhead. Him or Lembikisa have both played their part in our good run.
  7. It's also doesn't make sense seeing as the 3 game Naismith had previous to this were 2-2 at Ibrox, 2-1 with a late collapse that was on players not him, and 1-0. It's made us competitive. Early goal yesterday fucked us, gameplan out the window and the players panicked. Even after 1-0 we were playing our way back into it until a defensive calamity.
  8. Actually glad to have this so quickly after yesterday. Hibs won't, or maybe can't, come and sit in so that'll suit us. They obviously have threats but in general we've been in great form and we should be looking to win. I'd go back to a back 4 and get Forrest and Vargas off Shankland.
  9. Ha. In terms of 3rd your probably right, drop points to Hibs and you'll almost certainly have folk questioning Naismith despite the very good form
  10. We were absolutely shite. Too many defensive errors that you just don't get away with in games like this. Rangers were very good, add the two together and it's inevitable you'll take a sore one. No need to lose our heads though, we've been on a good run, one game doesn't negate it and it won't define where we finish in the league. Wednesday is a good one to bounce back in, no time to feel sorry for ourselves.
  11. Shame Oda is out, would've been a good option if we are in it when the game stretches. Don't mind the lineup though. Similar to what we played at Celtic Park.
  12. That's our allocation sold out already. Should be a good atmosphere under the lights.
  13. Seen Lee McCulloch praising Naismith for "not just keeping possession for the sake of keeping possession, which arguably it was like a couple of seasons before that". What a self own.
  14. Tickets bought this morning, looking forward to it.
  15. Think that's harsh. Two young guys who were standouts at youth level hung out to dry. Elliot in particular had ability and was badly managed IMO. Now, David Witteveen and an overweight, uninterested Christian Nade. There was a strike force.
  16. We clearly aren't favourites, but we've taken a point and were leading 1-0 in the 90th minute in our two trips to Ibrox under Naismith. I think he understands how to approach it, just like he did at Celtic Park. Add that to our recent form and I'll be disappointed if we aren't at the very least competitive in this one. I'd also add that while Ranegrs have improved from those games also, we've evolved into a far better team than we were at those points.
  17. Yeah this is what frustrates me. He'll inevitably get a ban at some point so we could do without him getting booked for fouls that are that soft. Even in the context of the game it was soft, he let far worse slide.
  18. A yellow for that? Jesus. https://twitter.com/EvanMcCallumm/status/1758884257076748649?t=AWbqcuBAgLOhge0RSwWSjg&s=19
  19. I agree. We could not win another game and I think 3rd is done.
  20. If we go to Ibrox with a 4-2-4 and a midfield of Devlin/Tait we'd get absolutely boabied.
  21. We were rotten for the first half and a bit after, Shankland's goal was a proper spark though. We were miles the better team after that. Could've been 3 or 4 with no complaints. Clark never had a save of note to make. Vargas and Oda made a huge difference.
  22. This is my worry from our point of view. Rather than look like we are wobbling we are looking in a really good place but I can totally see us chucking a stinker in out of nowhere.
