  1. There no height requirement on floodlights, depending on light type heights will be different, I think Medda and Talbot have Halide, normally 16-18m LED can be lower around 14-15
  2. Could Drumchapel and St Cadoc's be denied promotion then or is that just for Division 4 teams moving into Division 3 next season? Possibly
  3. No, new members will be allowed on a ground share basis, a temp ground share on Astro for a limited time is permitted but if the clubs doesn’t have ground criteria passed at their own group then promotion will be denied. school cages will be denied entry
  4. The lowland were running it at the time and they applied along with all the west juniors, there was a “accept all policy” at the time. but with new member clubs being asked to meet the ground criteria it’ll soon be asked if all clubs, probably around promotion. I believe the league reps will be contacting them at the start of the year for an update.
  5. Ground sharing on a grass park doesn’t meet the WOSFL ground criteria as it is, Drumchapel and St Cadoc’s are hopefully working on their on grounds.
  6. What will they do with £100 worth of clean pound coins
  7. A great guy, always willing to help others. A loss to more than the game
  8. Next year we’ll be adding a covering at either side of the seats and also putting a cover over the seats, so the ground will be enclosed on all sides we have the option to get more seats so one side completely seated, but working out if we need it or not. we also have a system designed for terracing inside the stands
  9. Make sure and have some Buffs mercy the next time we’re there lol
  10. I half knew it would, Medda were great today, best derby in years
  11. Last years was played at linthgows ground, but you’ll no need to worry at that
  12. Clubs can request fixtures, we’ve asked for Monday fixtures for the two weeks in between
  13. Same for Buffs v Largs, 3 red cards, barely a tackle
  14. Moved it to wpengine on Saturday, will repoint the domains when I’m back home
  15. There will be clubs moving up from Div4 couple of new clubs interested already for Div4 next year
  16. I love what Darvel is doing, they’ve raised the game, credit to their backers, short term/long term is doesn’t matter. if they get success we’ll done to them, if they don’t we all get our moment to gloat
  17. “Sustainable” don’t put your on opinion on clubs, the Buffs 99 team wasn’t sustainable, we don’t start a season to be sustainable, we start it to win it, nothing less.
  18. I’ve picked up the pieces, I know more about that than most. Success in limited, clubs survive, nearly always buffs, meadow, Hurlford, all still there
  19. Your right this should probably be it’s own thread, KillieVideoGuy start a thread on it, it’s time the “you spend more than us” gets in the bin
  20. The more money in the game, the better, there’s no dignity in being cheap in this game. Every clubs starts the season to win the first game then take it from there, you win games with better players regardless of the cost. ”we avoided relegation, but we spent way less than the winner” said no one ever
  21. Who cares?? Every club has the right to be run the way they want to run themselves, who wants to stuck in mid table neverland. Killie without Billy would have tumbled a long time ago. That’s the nature of the game, over the last 10 years I’d reckon Pollok/Talbot have spent more on players wages than any other club, the trophy cabinet doesn’t lie. why would any club want to put a cheap = shit team out on the park when there’s the opportunity of actually winning something. This is SPORT!! A form of entertainment!! Not the Scottish accountancy awards for cheap b*****ds. Spend what you can get, where you can get it, entertainment your fan base and enjoy it. And in your case, film it
  22. Bigger in what way? Have you read The Numbers Game? there’s a direct correlation between playing budget and success pretty much down to the penny. In 1999 the Buffs spent more than all other clubs and won every trophy. Great Times. Theres sometimes an anomaly, Leicester, probably Glenafton with the double win. Talbot, Hurlfords, Beiths recent successes didn’t come by them spending the least amount of money, don’t be naive. If you haven’t give it ago https://www.amazon.co.uk/Numbers-Game-Everything-About-Football/dp/0241963621/ref=asc_df_0241963621_nodl/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310814132050&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10661091432394343914&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006886&hvtargid=pla-452370022310&psc=1&th=1&psc=1
  23. Our budget is on our AGM minutes posted on our Facebook page. There for anyone to read.
  24. I’d love to pay our players more, hopefully once the clubs fully up and running we can give Chris a budget that matches the bigger clubs in the league. One step at a time.
  25. The pitch next to the main park is the youth teams competition park, we haven’t lined it yet till the kids season starts back, think it’s 85m by 58m, bit tight in the top corner but properly the best surface at the club. Theirs 310 seats, stand work planned for next season
