  1. What is it I’m supposed to have done? reading this in the paper like everyone else, was asked to comment by the paper and didn’t.
  2. They've already got 1000 kids wearing their shirt, it won't take long
  3. There you go folks, made your Saturday a we bit more enjoyable.
  4. Isn’t he already on the SJFA management team?
  5. So you’d be happy with 20 teams in the WOS and the rest in the WRJ?
  6. I’ve suggested to Gordon he moves up and runs the SJFA, he’d be good for it, he’s the only guy with a plan for it
  7. Can you read man!!! I’ve been nothing but a pain in Gordon’s heed during this whole thing, but as I said, he stood up for all the clubs when he had to, he gets credit for that. If he didn’t do it there would be a spilt in the game, and a slow bleed of what was left of the west region, some premier clubs weren’t moving, it’s not all Rosie but it’s all in one place.
  8. Considering I was the person that contacted the LL to ask how many teams they needed to get this League going in January (I’ve been talking to the LL and EoS for 2 years) and then put out our statement that got this all started, I don’t think I’ve been misled by anyone.
  9. Prior to the application Gordon had agreed with the Lowland League that all junior clubs would be excepted. At that point it wasn’t known how rigorous the entry criteria was or the maximum amount of teams would be. It might have been the same, it might not have been, who knows. At the beginning the LL were only looking for about 12 teams to get the league started. You might not agree with his approach but at least he represented the clubs, something the SJFA failed to do in two years.
  10. It’s the Lowland League running it. No, I don’t think any previous junior club would have gotten knocked back, I was just clarifying a point
  11. Gordon has secured entry by application for all west Junior clubs, other applications might not meet the basic criteria
  12. Yeah, at the time I didn't know other clubs hadn't been doing the same research into the EOS as us, assumed others knew what I was talking about, so for parity next season the WOSFL should have a Challenge Cup (All Clubs from Tier 5 down) WOS Cup (All WOSFL Clubs) Unlicensed Cup ( All WOSFL Clubs without an SFA License) There are also cup for no premier league teams (Kings Cup) but that wouldn't come in till year 2
  13. I meant a cup for non licensed clubs the same as the Alex Jack cup
  14. Kilwinning Rangers will be looking for information soon about joining the U20s League
  15. Or just ask me What do you want know? Our position at the moment is the same, however if the SJFA are to undergo modernisation and wholesale transformation then we will look at what benefits being a member brings to Kilwinning Rangers and possibly revisit our position.
  16. Wasn’t mentioned by me, I suggested the West Region (Junior’s) form a league for reserve teams that might sit below league 2, but the u20s setup will now provide this function. hopefully in years to come the amateur leagues are bolted on to the pyramid, clubs could form a 2nd team in those leagues, as they can at the moment, but those are run as separate teams. Separate club id and player registrations
  17. They’ll have to appoint dates, and end of season deadlines
  18. It’ll be this week, the members and fans we’d talked to casually prior to putting in the application (and before the lockdown) were happy to move on without the SJFA, as the only option at that time was to resign from the SJFA and join a new league, we still haven’t received anything from the SJFA regarding rule changes about dual association membership and cup participation and haven’t heard from the Lowland League regarding the formation the Scottish Junior Cup will take within the WOSFL, The East and North Juniors need to ok it, rules need changed and an AGM needs to happen to achieve all that. We’d already made our plans long before the WRJFA made any compromises with the Lowland League and the committee don’t see any benefit in continuing the SJFA membership when only several weeks ago our representative at the PWG said no West clubs were interested in Pyramid football, our goal is to become a licensed club within the SFA structure.
  19. The conferences will give the lower clubs a one of cash injection which should in turn help them out. there won’t be the sectional cup so it’s a way for league 2 teams to get gates against several Prem/Champ/League2
  20. Not entirely true, clubs looking to stay around the same level but reduce operating fees with no reinstatement fees or fines to pay should be investigating. Also the EOS criteria accepts clubs that agree to work towards the points over a period of time
  21. There's a load of secret, non public, domino's falling as well, if you listen carefully you can hear them
