  1. An Airdrie fan crowd wanking is some laugh. Your average attendance is 200 more than ours, and that's with us being shite while you have your best season in decades, having played one game where the capacity was limited to 900 odd, and being yet to play Dundee United at home.
  2. Gretna, of course, famous for members of their backroom staff being so highly regarded that they moved on to roles at the biggest clubs in the world.
  3. While you might be right, we also played Morton at home when they only had 3 substitutes available (one being a goalkeeper) during that time and still couldn't win, or even score a goal. I certainly wouldn't be putting any money on us here. Saturday against Thistle was a massive regression compared to the previous few weeks where we'd at least started finding the back of the net regularly again.
  4. While this is obviously true, relegation would be a horrendous setback even in the grand scheme of things. It's not uncommon for clubs to get stuck there for a few years before coming back up, and I highly doubt it was ever accounted for in any of the long term planning.
  5. Encouraging that McKinstry is finally in the squad for this. Doubt he'll get much game time but we could definitely use him for the rest of the season.
  6. Can't speak for the person you're replying to there but I do, yes.
  7. MacKay was well backed in the summer, he spent well over 6 figures on Henderson and Brophy alone yet they look terrible. He has resources at County, he's just a bad manager.
  8. Malky MacKay had a 23.6% win ratio at Ross County. Even beyond all the baggage he comes with, he's just not a good manager.
  9. Utterly horrific loss in Baltimore. Back to shooting themselves in the foot again it seems, after a couple of fantastic weeks.
  10. It is, but most teams haven't conceded 27 goals in 13 games.
  11. Thoroughly enjoyed watching St. Louis absolutely annihilate Colorado last night. Delighted for Schenn and Buchnevich both getting hat tricks! I still don't think this team is a million miles away from competing for a wild card place, but they're pretty inconsistent.
  12. I don't have it in me to go back and watch them all again, but I would be willing to bet that well over half of the goals we've conceded this season have been due to entirely avoidable, silly, individual errors. They have been so, so costly.
  13. I think they knew exactly what they were doing, even if they kept it quiet. As soon as it became clear that moving back into Hampden was going to be an option, there was no point in spending more money to increase the capacity of Lesser. I'll be amazed if any additional stands are built, or if it ever actually becomes our home ground barring us potentially ending up back down in League Two or something one day.
  14. Not sure if the other event at Hampden had any impact on how today was organised but it might have. Cost is definitely more with both ends of the stand open though because of stewarding, catering etc.
  15. It's definitely a better experience for everyone when the fans are at opposite ends but I would imagine it just comes down to money. Hopefully after today they don't do it again.
  16. Most away supporters have been in the same side as the home fans, Dunfermline and Thistle are the only ones who we opened the other side of the south stand for (would assume the same will apply to Dundee United as well). Can only assume it's based on how many fans each team expects to bring.
  17. Totally agree with your point though, we needed a settled defence.
  18. Reid got an injury down at Ayr last week which is why he didn't start today, Veldman mentioned it in his interview during the week.
  19. I don't mind guys getting behind their team. I can understand them being buzzing after that (who wouldn't be?) but the shouting, swearing, gesturing, and running into the home end towards them at the 2nd and 3rd goals was ridiculous.
  20. Raith fans down the front squaring up to a bunch of schoolchildren and our under 9s team wasn't ideal.
  21. They beat us comfortably in the diddy cup a few weeks ago so I wouldn't bet on that.
  22. The fact that I can't tell if this is a joke or not is absolutely terrifying.
  23. Changed my mind after that. What's Tam Courts up to these days?
  24. I thought the atmosphere was alright at the Thistle game, and it was also decent when we beat Accies 4-0 there last year. It's never going to be as good as a packed, smaller ground but there also hasn't been too much to get excited about so far this season!
