  1. I finally tried this stuff recently, the lemon and lime one tasted like some kind of hair product. Not very nice.
  2. I'll be very interested in seeing how St. Louis get on. Historically they're one of the better supported teams (rarely dropping out of the top 10 for a team that has never won the cup in their 45+ year history) but the season after the 2005 lockout they were dead last for attendances.
  3. It's possible that there's nobody there now until after Christmas, but I'm 99% sure that they also e-mail you the code since the feedback is all along the lines of 'received code within 15 mins' etc. I don't think they're allowed to explicitly state that you're not buying a physical item, but it's implied. Any time I've bought from these stores on ebay it's usually in my inbox within half an hour, you could always contact the seller to be sure.
  4. Maybe I misunderstood what you're after? This one is one of the first results for 'xbox live' on eBay, and there are hundreds like it.
  5. Check out eBay, I've bought exactly what you're after from there a couple of times. Just make sure you buy from someone with good feedback.
  6. I'd be pretty surprised to find any kind of course anywhere which doesn't involve some kind of presentation work to be honest.

    Dexter

Been a pretty mixed series overall, I think the problem is that it was all over the place too much. Looks like it could be an excellent finale though.
  8. That was absolutely fantastic, Super Hans' chat in the bunker was sublime. Brilliant, brilliant episode.
  9. Not the best episode in my opinion, very few laugh out loud moments.
  10. I'm unbelievably bad with presentations, regardless of how well I know what I'm talking about. Even in front of a group as small as 3 or 4 people, my hands will shake violently, I'll sweat profusely, and no doubt mess up some of my words. It's really bad, and I haven't got a clue why. I don't even feel nervous about them beforehand, but as soon as I start, bam.
  11. HMV are the best option if you want to trade games in by a mile. I had a pile of 5 or 6 games gathering dust so I took them to Game (knew it was going to be terrible, but I just wanted to see how bad) where I was offered £23ish, then to HMV who have me almost £70, both were for store credit. Ridiculous difference.
  12. Thought it was a great start to the series, the cake was hilarious. Can't wait for the next one now.
  13. Apparently a while back some roller coaster got stuck and the people had to rock it to get it moving again. Well some absolute genius decided to put music to it, and I'm currently sitting pishing myself laughing at this. Clicky.
  14. Finally unfriended one of my mates' ex's (and maw to his son). She's one of these daft lassies that doesn't give a f**k about football until Celtic are either playing a European game or there's an Old Firm match when she becomes the biggest supporter in the world and it's just ridiculous. Pretty much every second word is spelt with an unnecessary 'H' somewhere, and so far today we've had a picture of her child unwillingly wearing a full Celtic kit with something about him being a good luck charm for tonight, and a picture of herself kissing a Celtic scarf saying 'always love.'
  15. Currently sitting in a B&B in Bergamo. Flying out to Spain tomorrow and my flight is really early so there was no chance of getting a train at that time. I'm going to Murcia for a week, and hopefully we're going to go to Real Murcia vs Barcelona B on Saturday too. I've never been to a match in Spain so it should be fun.
  16. The issue with Chaumont isn't that he's a bad player, in fact it's almost the opposite. He's a very good player when he wants to be, but all too often it's as though he has no interest.
  17. Chaumont should never have been asked to come back, he was punted already for not giving a shit and as far as I'm aware that's more or less exactly what's happened again. Campbell in all honesty has never been one of my favourites even if so many people seemed to rate him, I always seen him as a bit of a filler as far as imports went even when he was at his best, but as has been mentioned his record this year is horrible and you can't afford to be having import spots taken up by passengers. I'm happy that the management had the balls to make these decisions.
  18. I'd imagine there are probably one of two into Paisley but I don't really know for sure. You can definitely get the First 747 into Glasgow city centre after games though.
  19. A friend of mine wrote his entire personal statement based around how much he wanted to be a teacher, the skills he had that were relevant, all that sort of stuff. He applied for 3 primary teaching courses and was rejected from them all, yet got unconditional offers for the other two he applied for which were both psychology.
  20. The flat had been unoccupied so there was nothing. The landlord organised it for me.
  21. Got my first electricity/gas bill through since moving into my new flat. It was pretty much exactly what I expected in terms of cost, except there was around 100 euros added on for connection. Is this normal, or should my landlord be paying that? I know it could be different here compared to Scotland, but I'm just curious before I speak to her or pay it, I've never dealt with this kind of thing before.
  22. I agree with all of that. You're fortunate in that an area of study you happened to enjoy also benefits from being one of the most sought after degrees by employers. See above. I never ever said that you can't enjoy a degree in law, I just used it as an example. If someone likes it, that's great.
  23. I agree that university is fairly easy. In my experience however which I'm willing to accept is clearly less than yours, those who I know who are studying things because they were told the job prospects were better tend to be miserable and have a much higher rate of dropping out than those who are studying a subject because they like it. What I meant by that post wasn't necessarily that choosing your degree based on the job prospects is a bad idea (although I'd recommend being highly motivated if you're not really interested in it), rather that if there is something which you really have an interest in studying then you should go for it instead of worrying about what will happen at the end of it because you're much more likely to enjoy your time at university.
  24. Had to reply to this on the off chance that anyone sees it and changes their mind on their choice of degree. I have friends who decided to study things such as Law and the more 'prestigious' degrees who don't really have any interest in the subject and they dread going into uni most days, whereas those who chose to study something because they have an interest in the subject are the ones who enjoy their classes and even tend to do better in their exams. Basically what I'm saying is choosing your degree because you think the job prospects may be better is a terrible idea. My degree is in Geography and Italian and I'm currently in my 4th year abroad and I love it. When I come out of it at the end I'm unlikely to have a huge list of employers looking to snap me up but this doesn't really bother me because I've enjoyed my time at uni and I know that most other subjects wouldn't have held my interest the way the ones I have chosen do. Pick something you actually like.
