  1. 10 days into this. Current profit. 672.56 14 bookie sign ups. 3 feck ups costing 245 pounds though. Sore learning curve. Couple of things to share to ensure nobody does the same. 1. Always confirm the bookie bet has went through. I layed and hadn't confirmed the bet and got stung for 175. 2. Lost 20 quid thinking Madrid will win last week. Drew and I hadn't layed. 3. Tried my first refund acca. 1 leg loses and get your bet back. 50 quid on paddy power 5 fold, got 4 out of 5 happy daze!! Nope.... Always read the small print....madrids odds were too low and it wasn't accepted. Raging. lol. Hope this helps.
  2. Cheers. Is that different to the accas where you need to lay at different times so you can do a leg at a time ? Brain mash. Lol.
  3. Thanks for the info. What is the best result? 1 loss and using the refund cash to lay ?? Just trying to get to grips with accas. Cheers.
  4. Was going to try this myself. What bookie did you back on mate? Are you hoping for a leg to lose? Cheers.
  5. Ballix. Placed a 25 quid qualifier with Vernons and the price changed when I placed and never noticed I hadn't confirmed. Horse won !!! Stung for 175 notes. A costly mistake!!!
  6. Started reading this thread this time last week. Completed my two free sign up offers on Friday night after a day of research. Currently 400 quid up, pretty much all on sign ups. Granted I had the time to study and a stash of cash to keep a high float. Made a couple of errors on a couple of deals but all in all well chuffed with the start. Just need to work on accas, reloads and free slots. Thanks for all the advice from the experienced match betters on this thread. Rich.
  7. It was the original Bet365, 50 pounds for 50 pounds. Unfortunately I keep winning at the bookie and need to bet 400 pounds to be able to withdraw my balance. If city draw with Everton my bet365 account will be at 1300 pounds, with a horse at 1840 which could be another 300 pounds and I will still have another 100 pounds to bet to trigger the rollover. I am robbing Peter to pay Paul to keep my exchange afloat !!!
  8. Hi all. Looking for another piece of help for the newbie. I stuck a 37.5 quid double on at bet365. Stoke at 5.5 & Man City draw. At 4.50 hoping to lose to the exchange. I have laid off the first leg on the exchange losing 151 pounds, with a lay of 33 pounds. At the moment I can cash out for 161.08 is this 10 pounds profit ? Or am I missing the lay of 33 on the exchange. If the bet comes in with bet365 it is due to win 928 pounds. Is there anything I can do to maximise profit on this ?? Thanks for the advice. Rich.
  9. Ffs. I have never had so many outsiders come in. If my double on the football comes in my 50 into bet365 will be a rollover sitting at 1400 quid !!!!
  10. It's ok. Its profit I suppose. I assume that when you open an account, get the free bet and lose to the exchange and your balance is zero, say with hills, don't worry just now.....just move on to the next offer. ??
  11. Coral 20 Bet Fred 10 Hills 25 Stan James 20 32 red 10 888. 10
  12. Hi mate. Won on the back again. You said above relying on losing to the exchange doesn't work. How come ?? What do you do with all the cash at the bookies ?? I think my Winnings took a hit today but not sure how? Still up but not as much. Opened 7 new accounts with free bets and only up 50 quid. Is this because my exchange hasn't won or is this a usually average for 7 new accounts over the weekend ?? Cheers Rich.
  13. Loving this. I have money all over the shop and bets everywhere. I am up 60 quid since I started yesterday but still can't help myself having my bets without a lay!! That's the whole buzz of a Saturday punting :-)
  14. BD. I have a stash in an account away from the Mrs. If my Betfair exchange goes down should I just keep topping it up ?? Is there a risk ??
  15. FFS. Never had so many bets come in until I started laying them to lose !!!!
  16. Another question folks. Got into this yesterday and think u have it susses pretty quick. However stuck 25 quid (my money) on a horse and it came in. Betting account has 100 quid in it. Ideally do I want to get this into my Betfair account ? If I lay a bet at pretty much the same odds, the bet calculator is showing loss of -.13p if bookie wins and loss of -.13p if exchange wins. Is this just a small paper loss as the money is transfering where I want if the exchange wins ??? Rich.
  17. Question please. If you had a decent wedge set aside and didn't need to withdraw or could top up your exchange account. Does it really matter whether the bookie wins or the exchange wins??? Had a wee afternoon looking into this and want to give it a go. Cheers.
  18. Cheers Thundercats. I don't appear to have the cast icon on the screen when I am playing on the tablet. Do I need to download an App?? I have cartoonhd and when I choose a movie to watch, it asks me how I would like to play it. I choose web video caster and this finds my wifi tv and it plays on the TV. Thanks for any help. Rich.
  19. Looking for some help please. I have managed to get kodi and genesis onto my Samsung tablet. I chose a box set and managed to play the first episode no probs on the tablet. How can I get it onto my LG wifi TV? Am I missing a setting in Kodi!! Cheers Rich.
  20. Was there not a debt to a holding company after the first year accounts were released, a few years back of Circa 16 mill ??
  21. Irony Alert. Sevco fan from Paisley on last nights Clyde SSB bealing, that Renfrewshire council were using tax payers money (33k) to rename St mirrens stadium, if they were successfully on the short list for city of culture 2021. I am sure he will be starting the whip round of the millions of the deid clubs fans, to repay their £50m avoided tax !!
  22. Wouldn't surprise me if there is an end game for Agent Ashley to expose the SFA and clear the decks. 1000 pound fine could have "stirred up the hornets nest" As much as everyone in the media are portraying they are bored. I think this is just the beginning. !!
  23. For the avoidance of doubt!!! (A great phrase that has been introduced to statements on the subject matter) I am not a Rangers or Celtic fan and couldn't give a shit whether titles are stripped. I am however a detached, pretty switched on person and it insults my intelligence watching the Govan chaps trying to have their cake and eat it. Today's classic. Ebt's weren't a sporting advantage because most of the players were not very good and Celtic ran us close on many occasions. Names line Capucho, Bob Malcolm etc were mentioned to name but a few. However After years of over spending the banks money and their debts being called in, they had to try and maintain their fans expectations. In circa 2002 they were 80 million in debt. The start of the EBT YEARS. this was the only way of attracting the big signings and hopefully dealing with the debt. Fast forward to 2009 and the Rangers "we deserve better campaign". Imagine the scenes if there was no EBT Route in 2002, with the bank pulling in the debt. Players like Capucho would be superstars!!! Bottom line folk are looking at sporting advantage, as in should be winning everything. but without the EBT's and the calibre of player a debt crippled club had. The advantage is actually staying above mid table or relegation battles. As an aside if Rangers hadn't won a title in the EBT years it would be approx 15 in a row for the East end Chaps. Here is the "we deserve better" Stance. QUOTE RANGERS fans groups today launched a "We Deserve Better" campaign to try and pile the pressure on the club's board. Chairman Sir David Murray's decision to sell off one of his leading players this month to balance the books has been met with a furious reaction from some Gers fans - who held a banner during last night's win over St Johnstone asking him to quit the club. The agreed sale of striker Kris Boyd to Birmingham City in a £3.8m deal was the final straw for many and various groups such as the Rangers Supporters Trust and the Blue Order have now issued a statement urging supporters clubs and fans to unite and let the club know their feelings. advertisementTrust chief David Edgar said today: "This isn't a campaign to get the chairman out or anything like that. "We know he is in a situation where he hasn't been able to find a buyer for the club but we want to know what direction the club is moving in and we're looking for improvements." The statement lists areas in which he says supporters are concerned with and want explanations and they are as follows; - Only 2 league titles in 8 seasons - Only 2 cups won in last 3 full seasons - Losing to the worst European opponents faced since Valletta in 1983 - A state of the art training facility, yet no advancements in technique or set plays - No discernible strategic vision, either on or off the pitch - No long-term transfer or team-building plan - Only two youth players (McGregor and Hutton) of genuine quality produced in the last decade - Selling first team players to cover losses previously made on fringe players - Consistent failure to move fringe players on for reasonable transfer fees - Lucrative pay-offs for failed players - Failure to profit from our most lucrative ever season - Failure to engage with or interact with the support in any meaningful way - Treating Rangers fans with disdain as customers instead of valuing and working with them as supporters and part of the Rangers family - Inability to either attract inward investment, or to convince fans to invest in any meaningful way - Reduction in the status of our club from leading football force in the land, to almost social pariah status through a failure to challenge those seeking to link Rangers with sectarianism - A PR operation which only acts when senior club figures are personally criticised and all too often fails to defend the Rangers support - Fan morale lower than at any time in the past 24 years
