I watched the last derby on tv and thought Kerr largely had Appere in his pocket. Dundees best player on the night. Particularly first half. English lad watching it with me was getting exasperated with Utd continually trying to go down the left first half only for Kerr to get the better of it.

We're not always the prettiest but this team has developed a real solidity at the back and a ruthless streak up front. 9 wins on the bounce only conceding 2 (both og's) is impressive and 45 points at the halfway stage is a cracking haul. Great to see the numbers coming through the gates too.

Deniz Mehmet - sound c**t/10 Adrian Sporle - 3/10 - Probably a write off at this point, had about 1.5 decent games as a left winger but that's about it. Apparently not settled at all in Scotland. Liam Smith - 8/10 - Good signing, solid defensively and gets up and down the right all day. Mark Reynolds - 9/10 - Bizarrely saw a number of fans of other clubs labelling him as shite at the start of the season. Been absolutely solid most weeks and is a leader at the club on and off the park. Adam King - 2/10 - Largely pish. Lawrence Shankland - 10/10 - f**k all needing said here really.

I was watching through the haze of a few pints but have to assume Clark has rolled it forward slightly. The Arbroath players all reacted straight away, could clearly hear them shouting for offside when it came back to Stanton.

Those corners were doing my box in. Arbroath defenders obviously clocked it the first couple of times we did it and moved men off the post so Stanton was offside after the ball came back to him. They made an arse of 1 or 2 in the 2nd half as well. Definitely a case of overthinking it in my own humble opinion. As someone else mentioned boozers across the town seemed to be jumping before and after the game, we walked up to Westport at full time and everywhere was rammed.
