  1. I wouldn’t mind starting next season with Yeats as CDM, with either Mcginn or an improvement on Mcginn alongside him
  2. Well done your lot. By far the best team, in individual games, I’ve seen in the league in the past 2 seasons. Would’ve been a bit of an injustice if you hadn’t managed to get up. Glad we won’t have to face you next year and gives me a glimmer of hope that we managed to finish off quite a few points ahead of you this year - maybe we’re not as far off as I feel we are from promotion.
  3. Congratulations to your club - well deserved when you score that many goals in the playoffs. As a London bairn the 2 away games at your place I can get to from Euston on a Saturday morning are making next season slightly more palatable.
  4. 5. Can’t expect to not beat the Fifers, then crumble to Airdrie, and expect higher than that. A lot of good hard work done in the season undone embarrassingly
  5. Finished 2nd to a team who lost 1 game, Scottish cup semi final and league cup knockout rounds. Some real shite at the end of the season, will give you that, but not sure Mcglynn has proven himself a dinosaur quite yet.
  6. Players should feel embarrassed tonight as do I. That’s how easy it is to at least make the second leg competitive. Airdrie deserve to go up, but Hamilton have some steel about them
  7. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/further-huddersfield-town-takeover-information-emerges/?fbclid=IwAR3aoeBnSVGV1bx_KyY_7ZVHzZvhgJzOR5QNZ-OUu-EUOU-9KhGIVIl1uL8 Friendly against Warnock’s Huddersfield next season anyone?
  8. We didn't play at all like that, until the last couple of months. Utterly obsessed with wingers floating it in from any angle. I think Dunfermline away broke him
  9. If our plans next year involve Henderson and or Donaldson at CB and Mackie either LB or somewhere in the back line, we will be in hugeee trouble
  10. Hope Annan can do it, what an away day that was in the Pressley era
  11. I think it was clear by the end he wasn’t great - which begs the question why he was thrown in? Overall, fairly happy to see him go
  12. Mad that Mcglynn never played Burrell, pissed him off so much that he decided to go elsewhere, then threw him in for both crunch playoff games, where his head or heart wouldn’t be in it. I don’t care if Burrell is maybe a bit of a fanny - that is absurd management
  13. Max was a tidy player but by far our best football was played before he arrived. Maybe a shocking opinion but not sure he really made a huge impact here. Will be loaned out again next year
  14. Whoever is manager next season (probably Mcglynn) we can rest assured that nothing but a Dunfermline esque league showing will satisfy the support next season. No more excuses or places to turn. We’ve seen pretty much every other full time team do it with ease. A poor start like this season and the manager will be sent packing.
  15. What a load of slavering nonsense. Aye, alright, let’s add the caveat “within our budget” to add to “best man for the job”. Same for any business in the whole of the world. Jesus wept
  16. If correct that does worry me. What’s the point in a 22 if you don’t know what your 11 is?
  17. My worry is with his and our obsession with a “squad”. Look at Airdrie, Dunfermline, Partick. Small first eleven that had the quality to turn it on and go on a run. I fear we’re spunking too much on the middling bunch to really punch our way to any success
  18. Your posts are long and often have some good points but this is just such bad faith shite it needs calling out. He’ll be in the post next year because the board thinks he is the best man for the job - for a variety of reasons (improvement, lack of alternatives, reduced funds if we sack him, positive early summer signings sewn up). Not any conspiracy nonsense about covering their own back. It’s quackery like this that drowns out a lot of good points made on the forum.
  19. Turned off after 40 seconds. Each one is getting worse
  20. Not against this, doubt Smith would want it
  21. Why? You’d utterly stagnated with him and now you’re flying. Even the season down here you were an ever bigger laughing stock (very briefly!) than us for a while. Coupled with his “off field” issues - does it really seem a good idea?
  22. One of the more sensible posts by opposition fans. We struggle so badly against a team that has any belief we are there for the taking and press us. I think it’s why we got away with the Ayr game - they took an early lead, sat back and forgot how pish we can be.
  23. Swinney saying we’ve signed 3 in the brockville bar is of absolutely no concern to me. Emotions running high and imo he is not a single part of any problem we have - anyone raging I bet has never met the guy.
