I'm sure I saw them testing it on Tuesday... looks great.
In general I think they're a bit tinpot but the one against Ayr in the cup (I think?) won me over. Full stand effort or nothing imo.

Really thought a surfer was going to be the head of the ultras crowdsurfing when I first read it

Very poor of the OnlyAccies guys not to come on imo.
Will quite rightly continue to get it tight on social media as a result
It’s all just a bit serious isn’t it, it’s a podcast ffs. If it isn’t a laugh/bit of fun what’s the point in doing it, can’t be a money spinner!

Since the Ultras are now well established, is there a conversation to be had for converting their area into a safe standing space for them? This would increase the capacity of the stand and it's not like they use the seats there anyway. Alternatively, is there the possibly of looking into terracing for the vacant east space? Watching the Morton game on Friday, with the place rocking, made me long for terracing so badly.
“Safe standing” within an already built seated stand actually reduces capacity I think as each “space” requires an individual slot that is bigger than the seat currently there.

Am I the only one that doesnt have a problem with the highlights packages at all
Picture quality is worse than some lowland league teams. Fact. If that’s not an issue then fine but don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect better. Perhaps if we go up it’s an area that can receive a small investment

I’m in the main stand but regularly switch to KM7 if I’m bringing anyone along with me. The club just makes your seat available and gives you a ticket for the KM7 in return. I’d be surprised if that doesn’t work the other way round so you should be fine. The only issue may be if the seat next to your mates is still available……
Think as a one off the club will probably accommodate but can see why they’d say no. It would mean you could buy a cheaper KM stand season ticket and just exchange it for a main stand ticket every game

Beat Hamilton next Saturday and Montrose on the Tuesday night and we will be in a fantastic position. In hospitality last game of the season and the Monday is a holiday, could be some party.
Fantastic position is an understatement. It would be done. 4 points from 6 would absolutely suit too but agree we should be all guns blazing v Hamilton, very obviously there for the taking. A bit like when we went to eep last year and after that it was over.

Sexy Falkirk Saturdays and we’re not even playing. It’s beautiful.

Sounds like I am in the minority here but not on board with a two year extension. Recruitment has been great but still not convinced he is a long term solution. Too limited as a manager which has shown up recently.
I think it’s very unlikely to happen but what happens if we don’t go up.
Shown up recently with an unbeaten league record, a narrow defeat on a cow field, and a 0-1 defeat against a team that has set a Guiness book of world record for longest unbeaten stretch? Superb!

More than happy with that

Genuine question for those who may be in the know about these kind of things; what would the finances be behind opening up friendlies like tonight to the public?
I know it might not even be entertained because managers want want to try new things, tactics etc without the public eye/a crowd, so maybe a non-starter.
But put that to one side because talking about getting money into the club - say you only opened the main stand and charged 8-10 quid a head and got, say 800-1000 people showing up, would that even be financially worth it for the club or would it cost more to operate than the money brought in?
Slow weekend with no actual game I know, but I do wonder whether it’s even considered or it’s just always assumed these games will be behind closed doors.
Agreed, I guess if we make any money at all on pre season friendlies we would’ve made money tonight. Complete loose end and would’ve fancied going - apparently a few goals up too.

People wanting Mackie to stay?! Absolutely wild, looked terrible and unfit v Edinburgh city Ffs. One to get off the books.

We’ve had this element since before some of the ultras were even born. Nowt to do with them. Embarrassing gimps who do seem to just turn up for some big/glory games.

Hamilton at home the real focus. Very similar game and feel to Dundee United at home in the league cup that one. Seem to struggle to break teams down who know what we’re going to do but hasn’t stopped us yet in the league. Not won anything yet and today another reminder of that!

Think I'd rather play Rovers as they seem pretty disjointed compared to Airdrie.
Doing a (very very) tiny bit of what they did to us here. So much energy it looks like they’re playing with 13 men sometimes.

Must’ve been a stressful window for our John, he’s shrunk 3 feet in his pre match presser

Calum Morrison FSC
On good authority he was offered double plus all expenses at Linfield. If anything would have been a pca. He loves Falkirk and being a part of this. The fact he has stuck by us through thick and thin speaks volumes.
May well have still signed and clubs haven’t announced. Either way, delighted he’s still here and know he’ll give 100%

IF we were to go up I think we’re in a great position. Most of our 11 would stay, barring Gk and possibly Morrison (although maybe we can lure him with champ football and improved wages). I’d also be more than happy with the 11 as championship footballers. That means any player brought in should be looking to add quality - high on the list would be a striker, and some full back cover/starters

5 hours and 10 minutes to go

If he did go we won’t get anywhere near the fee we’d hope for, mainly because it’ll be the player who really wants to leave and there’s not much we can do to stop that - just how transfers work.
If it was solely up to the club I doubt we’d accept anything less than 150/200k tbh

Falkirk v Hamilton Pt3

These Hamilton fans are ridiculous. They’re about 3 points off where the all conquering Fifers were at this stage last year. Fickle overreaction.
