More concerned about freezing weather over next few days & wonder anybody knows what degrees of frost our pitch cac cope with?

Pitch absolutely fine with frost down to around -3/4 apparently. It’s snow that’s the big problem but none forecast

I’m quite pleased with the change tbh.
Both keepers are less than perfect, but Hogarth's performance at Hamilton was terrifying at times, and his confidence looked shot after the mistake. He could be a good keeper but I think it’s time to give Long another run in the side…..

Was very good against Stirling though, his save from the corner an absolute belter. Strikes me as a contract thing too.

I see Hamilton have paid a fee to Rangers for Ben Williamson.

The announcement was bizarre. I’m all for slagging off the arse cheeks but this seemed to focus more on that than bigging up the player - very weird.

I’m sure he had a decent spell at Arbroath a few seasons ago but don’t know much more than that.

They’ve also signed the striker Kirk from Hearts B Team.

Their socials are ran by some complete bam that seems to piss off Accies fans too

Or that FSS had it's most successful day of new memberships when he was released!  Horrible, horrible times.  Things were so bad on the park and utterly toxic off it.  Fans were apoplectic, players were terrified and everyone else was in shock.  We can't ever go there again.

Players “terrified” a good description. Wonder what they would have been like if we had fans in the ground then. We’d be in league 2.

I think someone said Queens form is a bit of an enigma but when teams only raise their game against better sides it suggests to me that the manager isn’t getting them motivated in games they are expected to win. I’m surprised Bartley is still in charge tbh.

Be interested in Queens posters thoughts on the reason why they only start to play against better sides such as ourselves……

They’ve done f**k all against Hamilton. We just need to perform better on Saturday

In what way would going down to ten men have been "punishment"? You were five zip up and completely in control.

I think that's decisive and strong management from McGlynn; five of your first choice front six get half an hour off, McGinn and Oliver get a half of football to keep them warm for the next few weeks.

I think it also highlights how strong this Falkirk squad is. The five players who were brought on would start for every team in the league apart from, in some cases, Hamilton.

Yep maybe not even worth bringing up. Just thought 35 mins of football with no subs available was at the very least bold. Maybe as you said just decisive management. It was interesting to watch 5 different midfielders/attackers from the first half. Oliver and Agyeman coming out with by far the most credit

Regarding the Scottish cup tie at Bonnyrigg I think it's a bit tight to give us 600 tickets for a 3,000 capacity ground when their average attendance last season was 900, and 766 this season, I understand the SFA rules state they only have to give 20% to the away team but there are going to be a lot of disappointed fans and I can't see Bonnyrigg selling 2,400 tickets, we could have sold 1500-2000 tickets no problem. You would think Bonnyrigg would want a full house for financial reasons irrespective of who is in the ground.

Home end for me and lots of bairns I’d bet.

Not for me, certainly not as any sort of alternative to Morrison. He's actually one of the few players I've not been particularly impressed with this season - some good performances, seem to remember him coming on against his former club and tearing it up late on - but not enough, and on recent form (both his and the team's) not close to a starting spot.

What is this Morrison stuff anyway? Presumably that we've accepted an offer from a club, he's agreed to sign and that it will be announced at the opening of the transfer window next month? Given the importance to the club of the next five months, I'd be pretty disappointed if that's the scenario. Fair enough, off-days and inconsistent periods have been a feature of his time at Falkirk, if they weren't he probably would not be here. But he's a match-winner and personally I think he'd be a big. big loss. Hope we don't find out.

Think that’s very harsh on Agyeman. Was in my best 11 until very recently when Nesbitt has been on a decent run. He didn’t do too much wrong to be dropped and still think he has a big part to play for us

The catering facilities were something else today, I don't think I've ever had to queue 40 mins for a cheese burger before, the 2 ladies serving were comedy gold as the younger of the two couldn't count, couldnt cemember the order  and was a slow as a week in the jail to top it off they had no hot water for drinks and were still selling burgers with 10 mins of the game remaining oh how I will miss the seaside leagues 😅😅

Another end not really fit for purpose. Hilarious putting some banked standing in like that and making each step about 4cm above the last. Anyone at the end (including myself) who wasn’t directly behind the goal basically had no idea what was going on at the goalmouth. Shite.

Surely we would  lose 6, Hamilton 4 and Cove 1

Cove play Edinburgh tomorrow and will win so they would “lose” 4. Probably academic as can also see Edinburgh limping towards the end of the season and that’s when it really is anyone’s guess.

I’d love to say it’s sad but given the management of that club I honestly can’t say it is.

Just picking up on the Edinburgh City situation, unless there’s something I’m missing, as best it looks like the end for them. If they do fold, I’m assuming that any points amassed will simply be void ?

Yeah would definitely be the case. Meaning Hamilton would gain 2 on us. We should loan them McKay and Allan with wages paid by us to keep them going.
