Knicker wetters the lot of ye. 2 weeks ago we pumped DU 4-2, since then we’ve played 2 games, a routine home pumping and a decent point in Montrose on a Tuesday night. The navy blue machine won’t be stopped this season

10am inspection means it’ll be off. No chance to shift snow by then and not sure if much effort has been made tbh.
With 2 cup comps and a postponement therell be some congestion to get through. Hope Accies are off too otherwise we’ll be sitting 2nd come 5pm and that’ll suit their style when we play them

Anyone know how well the new pitch does in cold weather? Seem to remember the old one survived pretty well up to -4 or so. With no real sleet or snow forecast hoping all is fine for tomorrow

Hope the KM stand gives Burrell constant pelters on Saturday. Not because I think he’s done anything to deserve it but because he’s the sort of player I think it would affect

Well every team wants to beat Falkirk in this league, teams certainly seem to find an extra stride that they don’t have in other games. It’s an advantage all our rivals have over us.
Didn’t trouble Dunfermline last year.

Not a bad point at all. Let’s go out and beat Cove now. Draw not acceptable here.

All the positivity we felt at the start of the season has gradually been worn away. I fear we are not even good enough to scrape 4th now tbh weak, no real depth and a piss poor threat up front.
won’t scrape 4th Ffs

Some effort from your lot. Hope Bartley gave it the big un at FT. Thought his interview was a suicide mission but there’s a small chance he knew what he was doing

Not trusting the players and subbing on guys if they go a few goals up. I may have misinterpreted your post but are you implying sub them on as soon as 20 mins if 3-0 up?
Nah not 20 mins but come half time if the game is done ring the changes. We’re a club desperate for cash that a next round could bring not a charity

I've seen Formartine a few times in the last 3 months and this could be a riot on Saturday. Although sitting 3rd in the Highland League, realistically they are 5th best team in the division as the likes of Buckie and Brora have played less games and have more quality and rounded squads. Highland League sides outside the top 2 (Brechin and Banks o Dee) are a poorer overall standard than previous years.
I was at the Aberdeenshire Shield quarter final when Banks o Dee stuffed them 5-0.
Julian Wade, striker, formerly of Brechin is a player than could play L2, bags of pace and needs space behind limited. Dylan Lobban and Adam Emslie, both youngsters on loan from Aberdeen, are creative but lightweight. Defensively Formartine are shaky, centre backs are old fashioned with little pace and full backs will get destroyed by Morrison and Miller.
This will be wave after wave of Falkirk attack and I fully expect 4+ goals for the Bairns and a clean sheet.
Had only looked at the table so expected a game but let’s hope you’re right. I’d still stick with my lineup. If it’s done after 45 mins we can ease off with changes.

Just start the fringe players. Quite disrespectful to score a few goals then put them on as soon as that happens.
Disrespectful to who?

Spencer injured for Saturday. My team would be
Long
Bisland Donaldson Lang Mccann
Yeats Henderson
Morrison Agyeman Miller
Maciver
Try to get 2/3 up as soon as at all possible and then get Lawal Nesbitt Mackie Allan on. Ross too but think he's not allowed to play by Raith.

I would have to question the talent of the scouting profession if they’d only realised the qualities Morrison possesses now. He’s been largely very good in 3 years worth of teams that have been complete and utter shite. You could’ve got him on small wages for about 50k transfer fee 2 years ago.

Unless Morrison goes to England there's a chance we might keep him if we go up. Would imagine we'll be able to compete with most championship club wages next season. Not sure he's good enough to consistently play in the premier and teams will be very aware he's mostly up against sh*te in league 1.
I think that’ll be the case for lots of our players tbh. Go up and we have every chance of keeping anyone we want. Stay down and it’ll be tough to keep the best 3/4 (without even thinking about the part time possibilities that would be looming)

Imagine actually posting that online. Shite vlog and embarrassing accent. Cearly left after the 4th goal. Massive minter not paying for parking as well
Basically grassing the parking guy up too by posting it online. Really poor

We seem to really love playing DU. Even Hartley’s side (before it really turned to shit) put 6 past them. I remember some Tony Stokes embarrassments too when we were good. In fairness, they seem to always try play football, which seems to play into our hands.

Does he? Papped an unbeaten championship team, but somehow we’d be loads better with Jordan Allan shoehorned into the team??

Me if the Russians landed up the Forth. No way I'm defending the Howgate Centre from some Wagnerite aiming to annihilate me.

Saw a post about a week ago from an Accies fan on twitter. Apparently the little astro bit at the end in front of the Sainsbury’s is being used as an ice rink for families etc for Christmas. He posted a picture that they were selling tickets for the Saturday we play them, would be brilliant entertainment
