Lavery scoring again tonight v Qarabag, a team consisting of various Azerbaijani internationals and experienced European players. And he couldn’t get a game against Alloa. I am absolutely seething and my head has fallen off

I see Shayne Lavery is playing (and scoring) for Linfield in the Europa League this season. Genuine madness we didn’t manage to get anything out of a him and Rudden frontline for 5 months last season

Is this written in Focurc the ancient dialect the press were banging on about a few years back? Or did the cat fall asleep on your keyboard?
What a whining bunch of sensitive hard done by numpties Falkirk fans continue to be.
That bloke’s an alloa fan. Oh dear oh dear oh dear BOB at it again. My word

Brother’s just texted me from London city airport (not a falkirk fan) saying he’s seen 8 guys all in falkirk tracksuits - what could that be about? Surely not some sort of team bonding night out in London considering we had a game Saturday then one tomorrow?

Except the win at EEP had absolutely nothing to do with 2 up-front and everything to do with us using up about half-a-season's worth of luck in one game and DKD (a substitute) taking the one opportunity we created from our only decent bit of play in the entire 90 minutes. This incessant 2 strikers chat is the biggest misnomer going. Stick Aguero and Salah up front in this s**tshow and they'd struggle because we have zero creativity, zero drive, zero pace, zero width. Outside of Rudden we have nothing that would cause an opposition defence a moment's concern. I've never seen a Falkirk side with such dearth of attacking options.
McKinnon signed five final-third players in January. Of those, only DKD could be judged as any kind of success. McLean is brutal, Jarvis has shown nowt and Lavery and Todorov have barely had a look-in (Todorov is just a basic big-lump-up-front type and was a panic, last minute signing to fill out the squad). McKinnon identified the chronic lack of width in the squad not long after taking over. His solution was to sign a guy who wasn't getting a look-in for a woeful Morton, an old-pals act, nothing more.
We're virtual certainties to be relegated. It's odds-on McKinnon will stay in charge, therefore we have to hope he undergoes some sort of tactical epiphany on his summer holiday, ditches the Lambie playbook and sets us up to at least try and attack the likes of Stranraer and Forfar next season. Could not make it up.
This 1000 times over. The problem isn’t the 2 or 1 up top, it’s the absolutely brutal middle 4/5/3 who would struggle to make 1 creative, ball playing midfielder between them

I am fucking furious with how this transfer window is panning out. Ray surely had better lined up for strikers and centre backs - he had 3 months to plan ffs

Obviously you seen him in a lot more games than me but the times I seen Nelson play against us he was poor. Also this is a step up, I think he will struggle. Can’t see signings like that help keep Dundee in the premiership.Tbf I saw him at the Livingston away game - maybe the Scottish Cup - where he was poor and spunked the best chance we had blasting it over when through on goal. However that was one of his first ever games of professional football and he went on to get better and better. The goal v Morton was real quality and just screamed potential to me (if you can be arsed it’s around the 1:40 in this game https://www.falkirkfc.tv/highlights-falkirk-3-1-morton/

Haven’t been as confident that a player will come good as Nelson. I reckon he’ll be an absolute star either immediately or in the next year or 2 for you guys. Absolutely gutted we didn’t sign him tbh

Best summary I’ve seen so far, cheers Andy.
Also, when the f**k did everyone start calling Ray McKinnon “Rae”

Falkirk Herald an absolute shambles on this as well saying the boy was charged.
"Lewis (21) showed his appreciation by applauding the fans along with team-mate Prince Buaben."
A bit of casual racism in itself. Just the black lads applauded the fans.
Nah, it’s just those were the only 2 to come out the dugout and applaud the fans in the south stand. Don’t love the paper, but imagine reporting the facts as they happened and being accused of casual racism by another team’s fans. What a total fucking riddy.

Not sure if I’ve missed something, or if my eyes have gone funny, but were the floodlights flickering during the game last night?
Noticed it too. It was when we were 1 up, only on certain bits of the park - immediate thought was - floodlight failure, match abandoned

Someone in south stand shouting “fucking talk to each other, get them up for it Muirhead” mid game and Muirhead turns round and tells him to shut the f**k up. Mid. Game. Unbelievable.

Sorry for making eyes bleed but we are obviously needing a shitload of midfielders in and 3 strikers in at least, 10-12 was the number Hartley gave last night, perhaps the 2 on the figure I was given will depend on horsing Loy, Harris, and not so much Shepherd out the door(also maybe McKee)
Ps the good news for me is Welsh wasnt on that list, would've gave Longridge chance to prove me wrong like some that have re-signed on again but his losing the ball, choosing the wrong option far to much for my liking, if anything he overshadowed Sibbs and would rather we signed one of Sibbs or Longridge
Barring a couple of the backline, isn't that roughly what we started with as our first choice 11 at the start of last season? Jesus. Christ.

As usual, the perfect chance to act missed. He had to resign or be booted after the QOS home game, giving us the Sligo freeroll away to get a manager in and get us sorted. Instead, he's still hanging about with a honking result against a pub team and Dundee united at home next week. What a troublesome mess we are in, from top to bottom.

Just wondering if North stand will be all standing for falkirk fans? So if there are people who want to stand next to each other shouldn't be a problem

So where will be the more "singing" section of the bairns support? West stand I guess because it's cheaper?

I'm actually amazed at how thick some people are being when it comes to the process selling of tickets to HOME FANS. It is clear that the SFA have had a clear procedure in selling tickets, and if you used your brain it would be simple to work out what that is. First, sell the tickets that are not restricted view seating. That way, if the game wasn't a sell out, no-one would be left complaining that their seat had a pish view. Next, don't sell tickets in the front 1/2/3 rows, closest to the pitch. Now I don't know why that is, probably to do with security reasons, but it was the same at Ibrox for game against Georgia. If you had contacted SFA instead of jumping into panic buying a £45 ticket, you would have known that. Now, as all the non-restricted view seats were taken, the SFA put on sale restricted view tickets. Then, when most of these were sold out, they put on sale tickets in the front couple of rows of the lower sections at Celtic Park. Now, I know it isn't the perfect way of selling tickets, and communication could probably have been better, but everyone up in arms over it just seems unnecessary. Have a word.

Anyone really struggling with FTV at the moment? Match highlights and interviews are basically unwatchable for me because the buffering is taking so long
