  1. For what it's worth I've tried watching the creeps YouTube channel but his way of speaking is just bizarre. Also sounds like he constantly needs to remoisten his mouth.
  2. Added Caol Ila to my "collection". Another Islay; I'm coming around to peaty, smoky whisky's. I was going to go for a Dalwhinnie 15 but I'm happy with my choice.
  3. Saw that on the whisky exchange as a recommended one. Will definitely think about it.
  4. Purchased Bowmore 12; first bottle of Islay whisky and I'm surprised. I'm not a massive fan of peaty whisky, and as far as peatiness goes this is probably my ideal whisky. Not too strong but definitely decent hints of smoke in there.
  5. From what I've read it was rebranded/changed to a non-chill filter process and the ABV was upped to 48% which could explain the sharpness of taste. Excited to crack it open tonight though.
  6. Just bought this for a casual dram. Anyone ever tried it before?
  7. Who else but the director of Still Game is staying in the hotel that I work in? Himself and his crew are working on some Christmas special up in Invergorden for BBC Alba. Mentioned how I thought Methadone Mick was used maybe a bit too much, he countered that with saying that discounting 1 episode, he's only really in 1 scene in each of the remaining episodes throughout the series. He said the impact of what he does though is what makes people think he's in it for more than he is, which he thinks makes him a good character. He also thinks there will be another series; hit all the targets and check-boxes for the BBC to renew it, it's just down to them now!
  8. Sunshine on leith is a cracking song. Hibee brethren have good taste in music.
  9. Lars and the real girl - 10/10. Complete tear jerker of a film, and probably Ryan Gosling's best film. It's just a brilliant, emotional journey, presenting the real struggles of extreme isolation and shyness, and guiding you through the trials and tribulations of overcoming social obstacles. Outstanding.
  10. Someone asked the same question on Facebook on the unofficial page. Just wondering.
  11. Did you post a similar comment on Facebook? [emoji849][emoji23]
  12. That song was sung beautifully in most pubs that evening. Especially where the coffin was doing the rounds.
