Surely that 60/40 issue leaves the SJFA massively open to suggestions that they stand to benefit directly from certain big teams getting to certain rounds of their competition? And operate at a loss if clubs with considerably smaller fan bases do.

That was a proper hard watch yesterday. Largs looked hungrier and sharper for the full 90 minutes and you would have thought the league placings were the reverse. We’ll lose a lot more than we win for the rest of the season if performances don’t pick up.

It’s a very exciting league, though looking at the First Divisin table it has the potential to become even more congested at the top.
