    So going back to the actual subject of the thread; does anyone remember how the English pyramid opened up & can we learn any lessons from that? I seem to remember the old Vauxhall conference had to really fight to be recognised as a legitimate step below the 4th division/league 2.

    Yes the chairman was very good in the immediate post match interview. Talked about the strength of the WoSFL, big upped Talbot, Pollok and Bankies and called for a much easier route out for the best clubs. Focussed more on that initially than Darvel’s win tbf.

    Thanks mate, it feels surreal at the moment because she has had basically no symptoms from the cancer but has been through 2 surgeries and now waiting to see how bad the chemo side effects will be. Horrible. She’s up in Dundee and wants to stay at home if she possibly can but have always heard good things about St Margaret’s.

    My Mum started chemotherapy yesterday. I’d just assumed she would be showing grim side effects by now, but so far it’s virtually nothing. Be grateful for any experiences of what she should expect over the next wee while?. She’s getting one treatment every 3 weeks for 6 weeks initially. Stage 4 Ovarian. Otherwise she fit and had almost no symptoms pre diagnosis.
