  1. Two poor teams, Accies controlled the bulk of the game but did absolutely f**k all whereas Morton took pretty much their one and only chance. Fair play to them
  2. Definitely did not leave and go back to the pub at 3-0
  3. Still absolutely no mention of tickets for this on Accies Twitter
  4. I would love it to be Brian Rice but there's absolutely no chance of it happening. He's unsackable
  5. We are in big trouble if we don't make some signings soon. I know we have about half a dozen first choice starters out injured but even when they come back we always have a massive revolving door of injuries so we need some players ready to step in
  6. I hope McMann stays, I think there's a player there. Especially at Championship level. As for Rice.... hopefully he sees this as a way to get out with a bit of dignity intact. Not being sacked, not walking away after a disastrous season, but actively being pursued by a club that he seemingly has a good relationship with. If he wants to go there's absolutely no point in the board forcing him to stay.
  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57190642 Accies deny Falkirk permission to speak to Rice. Now I'm no expert in contractual matters, but surely it's much like when a player wants to leave in that they can't really stop him?
  8. Might not bother watching the game but there's a decent chance I'll order a curry. Lamb Rogan Josh, pilau rice and a garlic naan. Larvely stuff
  9. I don't remember there ever being an Old Firm game in my time with less build up than this one. I know it's a dead rubber but do fans of either team just not really care much about it?
  10. Admittedly I haven't read through all 22 pages of this so no doubt somebody has already said this but: I don't think the referees are biased towards Rangers, or Celtic, as such. I think the standard of refereeing in this country is generally abysmal but it only ever gets highlighted when a decision goes for/against one of the cheeks because they or the other side go squealing about it and the media lap it up and feed all the conspiracy nut jobs on both sides. For the rest of us, it's just something we expect and for the most part put up with. Honestly, how often do you come away from a game (or watch it on TV these days) absolutely astounded by the refereeing performance you've just witnessed? But because Michael Stewart or Hugh Keevins don't give a f**k if Accies or Ross County were denied a stonewall penalty against one of the other also rans it's barely mentioned and we all just move on with our lives and accept that referees in Scotland are pish
  11. What a difference Anderson has made to this team over the last couple of games
  12. You've misread my post. Yes, yes I have . Carry on, nothing to see here
  13. Bit harsh, he probably didn't see the run from the bench
  14. Thought about starting this thread earlier but the apathy kicked in and I forgot all about it. 3-0 Celtic. The Ten to be declared officially back on. Rice to comment on how good Celtic are in his post match presser. Lennon to physically assault Kenny McIntyre in his post match presser
  15. Wagner turned up at NDP once as a guest of Dundee. Wouldn't say I was annoyed by it though
  16. Was pretty surprised when Accies signed David Templeton! Knew he had injury issues and most likely would be a far cry from the wonder kid type talent he was when he first came on to the scene but still felt like a bit of a coup. He's ended up being far better than anticipated as well, albeit still riddled with fitness problems
  17. I think we can take heart from those first 17 minutes, a lot of positives. There you go Brian, your post match interview is ready
  18. Same thing that happens after every humiliation. Absolutely nothing.
  19. If the situation was reversed I would bite your baws aff for a 3-0 default defeat. I probably would right now to be honest.
  20. That's something of a speciality for us this season so ask an ye shall receive
  21. Left at half time when we were 3-0 down at home to Celtic on a cold Friday night about three years ago. Went to the pub and kept and eye on the second half whilst getting pished, nice and warm. I regret nothing
