I’d heard the complete opposite and that Stewart’s back injury wasn’t clearing at all. There is no way anyone can think Grant is a better left back than Stewart.

I didn’t hear anyone shouting or criticising Lamont for a few poor deliveries from free kicks yesterday, if that was mcstay he’d have been on the end of a few shouts at least. We need a left back in January plus one or two more. I’d move a few out as well

In terms of a squad player, Lyon is better than Eddie ferns. I don’t think he’s that good, but not done a whole lot wrong either.

For this level I think Currie is a perfectly decent keeper. Not saying you couldn’t get a better one, but would have a hard job finding one a lot better.

I thought first half nicol was well off the pace. Didn’t make much of grant or Lamont. At least mcstay was on the ball trying to make things happen and not hiding.

I don’t think mcstay was the worst on the park today but seems to get most of the flack from the support. Not saying he was great but far from the worst.

My point being that they were able to bring, probably championship level players, off the bench. Shows the squad they have.

Look at the team Peterhead have on paper though, they were able to bring Derek Lyle and Ryan Dow off the bench. We have an important run of games coming up after Edinburgh.

Personally I’d line up - Currie cuddihy rumsby McNiff Stewart Nicol Grant mcstay Lamont Love Goodwillie Dont think belmokhtar has done enough to keep starting and think love complements Goodwillie better. The front 3 always have the option to switch or cover each other throughout the game.

Jordan Stewart has to play at left back, I think he’s been excellent since Lennon came in. Personally think grant and nicol as centre midfielders is the best option. No place for rankin just now.

Barry Ferguson lost Scottish Cup games to Spartans and formatine. So aye he was in terms of Cup games. Today was perfect for nicol, but instead drops him for rankin. Just play Stewart at left back and drop rankin. Two huge games coming up and I have no confidence we’ll get anything from either.

Given the resources he had, Jim Duffy did a good job with us. Signed decent players and ones with experience at league 2 level, ending up in a play off which was somewhat unexpected. Whoever has tipped Jim chapman has lost the plot.

The person that told me knows the player himself, I suspect there is at least some truth in it. It would only go below minimum wage depending what sort of contracted hours you’re on surely.

A weekend in September and a weekend in October free from league games, another non-sensical move from the governing bodies. Also, why does the premier league get a break when lower leagues don’t? They don’t have many(or any) postponements. Scottish football is upside down in some aspects.

Looks like it. Ridiculous that league 2 games are off due to Scotland games, especially with inevitable postponements over winter.
