  1. Don't think he's as good as some make out. Don't get me wrong, he's decent enough but after his injury always looked nervous in a tackle and Stewart for us is a better left back.
  2. What are you on ya looney, Scottish cup talk in may. We'll pump you out again anyway. Pleased to see those 5 sign, especially keeping that defence together.
  3. Don't think Lowdon has been the same since his injury, thought he was decent though. Home I'd have kept as he'd be a good squad player. No real complaints about the others.
  4. Tom English and Stephen McGowan basically said DGW and ally love should be sacked and never be seen in society again. Not sure I agree that a) an interview was required or b) it was the right time. Love was suspended by sfa, fined by us and sent on diversity course. Without sacking him what else can we do. Ps I did say he should've went after the incident, that on a debut was ridiculous. They widely criticised goodwillie for not apologising to Denise Clair, DGW denies he did this so I wouldn't expect an apology.
  5. Can't wait for the backlash off that interview...
  6. These bigger teams have numerous other income streams which we don't though.
  7. Unsurprisingly, smart osadolor put on twitter earlier he's away.
  8. I actually thought Nathan Flanagan released by Saint mirren could do a job.
  9. Would think with his Saint mirren links unlikely he'd go to Morton. Not surprised other clubs are making offers, would like to think we'll get things sorted early.
  10. My understanding is that the whole idea is off the table now.
  11. Would've preferred to have kept macdonald but was struggling to see out 90 mins in latter part of the season. Not sure what to make of McNeil rumour as he is signed for next year with us.
  12. O'Brien and denholm are good signings for you lot going up. Play offs look a good bet might stick that on.
  13. Anyone know exactly when Norrie Innes officially starts as chairman? Even though he hasn't started officially, I'd like to think he's had some input looking forward to next year. With a plan set up for staying up, or if the worst did happen. Priority for me is a manager by the start of June, or very latest into middle of the month, to give him time to assess and get new guys in. However, at least I can go away for a fortnight on Sunday and enjoy not being in a playoff, but can look forward to what will happen.
  14. Couldn't make yesterday but made the shift go in easier when the scores came through. Would keep Easton, goodwillie, and we obviously have the ones on 2 year deals. Gormley has 15 goals and 10 assists, as much as he in a frustrating player, id probably keep him. Also think it could be worth getting gourlay and Waddell back from Dundee.
  15. A point this weekend may be good enough to keep us up if you lose to Forfar, although 6 points would be nice. Just seen Darren young is leaving Albion rovers, assuming he's going up the way if he has something else lined up but one to keep an eye on.
  16. Agreed about Flynn and Scott ferguson, was only thinking off the top of my head. If goodwillie is available I don't see the harm in keeping him. Worth getting the Dundee goalie back?
  17. Disappointed that Lowden and Easton won't play again, was hoping they might just make a couple of games. In terms of next year, would like both of them, Linton, macdonald, McNeil and gormley(based on second half of season performances and returns), all stay. However, I'd hope the manager situation is resolved very early in the summer.
  18. How the board can continue with McGovern and macdonald is beyond me. I've not been since the shambles at Annan and not missing it at all. We need a manager now to save us, if we're able to be saved.
  19. Not much to laugh about lately with Clyde but this is a cracker. Stirling just behind two championship teams as biggest part time teams, bypassing the likes of livi, airdrie, Alloa. There's bigger teams than Stirling in this league. And bigger than us before you crack that line.
  20. I don't expect to go down to Berwick and concede 4 f*****g goals for a start. Has it made any difference to the players, doesn't seem like it.
  21. We're on the way down. Can't see how we're going to turn this round at all. Need a manager in, not working with jp and peaso.
  22. Would have to say with better coaching you'd think the current squad would be much higher. But had a laugh at your point as well!
  23. Is anyone able to clear this up for me - seen on here that we will have the same budget for next year, i.e. able to sign same calibre of player. Also seen we'll have to go back to basement signings. Anyone?
