Think we needed another player who could play centre back or left back so pleased with that.

Scott McLaughlin was terrible for us 2 years ago when we nearly finished bottom, admittedly in a terrible team. Couldnt believe Albion signed 3 of that team in McLaughlin, Higgins and perry.

I don’t expect Rankin to be anywhere near like he was, I still expect him to be able to win the ball and distribute it well at our level. Should be a good signing.
