Is anyone able to clear this up for me - seen on here that we will have the same budget for next year, i.e. able to sign same calibre of player. Also seen we'll have to go back to basement signings. Anyone?

Personally not bothered if whoever comes in has been at the old firm, Patrick or anyone else. If they're the best candidate then that's all that matters.

Danny Lennon got Cowdenbeath up two years running and also did well at Saint mirren. Depends if he'd want it I suppose. Ek have all the Celtic money to spend and have players who have played at our level, and anyway that lowland league is woeful. Lauchlan should be winning it really. Anyone else think it's a possibility of peaso being player manager till end of season?

Only played a couple of games due to being cup tied but looked good against Arbroath. Plenty of energy and decent delivery. Pleased he did let him leave!

Mckenzie always been decent anytime I've seen him against us. Seems the type to give defenders a hard time and not give them a second. Need a bit more of that in the team.

Thought perry was great the first 4/5 games but something has went wrong with him I think. McNiff was signed as a centre half and has been forced into left back with lowdens injury, hasn't been good there but would like to see him at centre half more.

Was going to ask if any of your lot knew if little will be banned for Saturday or still able to play?

Wouldn't necessarily say he forced him out, marsh may have asked to go if he knew he wasn't going to get game time. Will give Perry time to see how he does on the park, been training with us for a while it seems so hopefully can play his first game having built some sort of understanding with whoever he'll play with.

Has anyone ever seen Perry play? Don't think I ever have so know nothing about him.

We've signed Ross Perry that was at you guys before, what did you all make of him? Good signing at our level?

Marsh was a decent player and always gave 100%, and aye him and McQueen were good but obviously not good enough to get us promoted. I'm happy to try different things to get us up. Although we're conceding a few more just now we're scoring more, might just work.

Think pushing the full backs on was always going to leave gaps. Thought we were a bit better when smith went into the middle. Also thought Cowdenbeath were throwing bodies forward from midfield most of the first half and we weren't always tracking back.

Never really been for or against a move away, would only go if it's definitely better for the club. However, have said for a while we need to get out this league before moving if we are going to. We would be a much more attractive model with teams in league 1 at least than what we have now.

Don't know why anyone thought he might come back.

Agreed, thought he looked good and would be worth getting even till January if we could. The three under 20s are miles off the pace. Watching the highlights was worse than first time round.

Some of our under 20s are awful. Genuinely basic stuff not even done right. However, not bothered to be out the cup and glad we've rested apart from the two that played tonight. Montrose are rotten and hopefully we get off to a solid winning start against them.
