Tbf i acctually felt sorry for young Ola, he just needed a few goals to be a hit amongst others who seen he lacked a few therefore got released to be it another PL club south of the boader but nothing came more to a young kid that it never much worked out...seem a decent bloke though. Another players since we've had Ali Coote (he was great, just got on with it was a smashing wee player would have taken him back but is he not with Brentford not sure? the other was a goalie that feature on our sub dugout four seasons ago he was at cowdenbeath last year now released but he didn't seem much either in terms of beening great other than that we've enjoyed others from other teams including saint johnstone and hearts. Hopefully this deal is much better and therefore if hes good at finding his level again, a similar deal to Page got could be given considering the amount defender Utd have currently with SM already know what were about he'll help boys like Dunsy etc, he seems a bit of a unsung cult hero having played for ourselfs in 2010 etc time will tell if hes not that bad as they seem at Tayside. Those two would be great to watch, agree with this comment. I'd take him back get his fitness 100% and stick with Kev, Courty and RC19 for the current season until next season....but i would LOVE the worcester wizard upfront back at New Bayview where he belongs. As far as im aware Mr Young was handed a two year contract by the current board in July 2017 and hes three months to the end of that contract so with handful players signing new deals you would assume so.

Absolutely true, this has going on for months we could sit here until end February tie would still be OFF looking at the current climate of minus 5 outside but i get where your coming at gate money should be P&P back to East Fife and dished out to the supporters for their monies worth!! and if you have no alternatives to play a soccer match then im afraid the SFA should be in east fife's favour of progression to the last four of the tournament and as a scottish tournament altoghter with Bohemians sadly not be re-vited after todays shambolic attemps with the scottish season three months to a close. I dont see them planning to swap a irish team to play in scotland having being tied at home in orginial outcome of the draw was made. Sorry but the hosts should be disqualified from the tournament simple as that now, they've had twice to get it playable. 1) their summer break late November = no our faults 2) buffying supporters and have the cheek to call off the game with seven mintues to go whatever it was = again no our fault SFA should throw them out for a complete waste of time and shut the door on the FAI, hence the awarded of the tie has expired therefore EF should play at Ross county on the date planned infront on tv viewers!!! Excellent news on Brett and Ross signing on, Long's been fantastic between the sticks and Ross a bit like slattrey where he is a regular with form that goes un-noticed at times im very pleased with both tied to next summer... Hopefully Watt, Kev, Dunsmore, Dunlop, Watson!!, Meggat and Agnew commits next which would be braw. So far as it stands Anton, Bell, Slattery, Brett and Ross D the five into next season squad Deadline day tomorrow hoping we squeeze in a adam Livingstone type wide player and attacking midfield by thursday midnight now with a keeper signed. Transfer window we have three days including thursday's drama deadline day, we do need one or two outfields !! Would take a left winger slash left wide mid type player and attacking mid that can defo play a bit in midfield plus a goalie thats competing for the bench with Couser those three would fill the squad pretty much as it was back in december; three out to three in senerio. But Anything of anything is worth getting now than regretting for these last four or five months i'd say, very crucial we keep going as a club in these parts aswell so hopefully some player incomings.

Bit gutted if he decides to move on from east fife, i had big hopes he'll play a big part to the season but sadly at times he didn't feature on the bench at times and from dropping down to league one on permanent terms last january ago he failed to live up to hype of doing much than i expected from him i just sense theres a player in him to be a footballer but he comes across his mind frame is elsewhere then fair enough its time for him to gain mintues elsewhere from NB, tbf this second half is CRUCIAL for us and having a squad to get us over the line in PO, compete in the diddy cup(realistic sliverware) and the famous national cup we need players of the first half willingy to win points, defend and scoring enough goals aswell as having a squad pool, with bridey, mcdowall and quite possibly thomson we need 2 or 3 in or like for like better replacements to keep us going on till May certainly wide midfielders , left sider/flanker and possibly a much experience back up in goalie department with the likes of couser aswell just a strength on the bench plus a much experience camper in the middle quite liked the look of similar to mark hill of forfar there whos finished his loan there from celtic he looked a player at this level. We have 6 days to either boost what we have left or regret not making any other than extend one on a longer loan. hopefully theres more activity between Saturday thursday but a bit concern that no one else is going to leave therefore signing are made #fingerscrossed

It was an area we all record to have missed last season particluarly crossing and set pieces from corners and also defending corners has been a big improvement if anyone has noticed we are a unit of together which we lack last season too. Onwards and upwards...

Definitely this group of players heirated by DY are joys to watch but wouldn't mind gaffer getting another 1 or 2 in before 31st of this month to fill the gap left by MacDowell and bridey to kinda strengthen us a bit or two. Todays performance was superb and delighted for the players and coaches roll on next weekend...

He has certainly come in leaps and bounce just keeps on getting better for the laddie and we took that gamble by signing him, now hes until 2020 (hopefully longer!!) the guy is some unit and this squad is toghterness is fantasic from Long to young Bell absolutely amazing. Fantasic result against another championship team in the cup too. DY turnaround in fortune has been impressive and hopefully we keep on going as a football club. Monthefife

This ^^^ we get a back up keeper stronger than MC for the bench and have all three keepers fighting then im happy with this window but get another one or two with a defender and a midfielder in then thats that for May i reckon. I’ll take that on paper as far as you look at the window get one, two or maybe all three after extending RC periord at the club then thats business done regarding this window and were in a better position than we were last january window still in two cups and sitting third!!
