  1. I was at Murray Davidson's testimonial lunch a couple of weeks back. Tommy Wright, Chris Millar and Dave Mackay were the speakers. (Danny Swanson and Wotherspoon were also there in support to Muzz). They done a Q and A for 90 mins. It was superb and some of the stories/insights were brilliant. Tommy Wright still holds that charisma about him and his insight into man management was fascinating. You get the impression his players would have gone to war for him... Seeing that car crash of this season, CD clearly does not have that same skill and players are clearly not playing for him.
  2. Said it weeks ago on here ( we are not getting another point this season) under CD
  3. Max and Alex (plus any other youngster) will get next to no chance to succeed with CD in charge. He clearly does not "trust' them and would always go with the "experienced " option. Man I absolutely hate him as our manager
  4. From memory he was one of a few who had good fulltime jobs and did not want to give that up for what they probably felt was 1 season in the Premier Division. He goes up in my expectations as at one of the last midweek games at Muirton park, my younger brother was sat on the terracing metal bar ( down by the yellow cabin thing) and taken a Sammy Johnston 30 yard shot straight in the puss which sent him flying from his perch.
  5. Can confidently predict we will be no where near a nil nil at Killie next weekend. Another defeat incoming. We are in big trouble this season IMO. Can see another play off coming down the track pretty rapidly
  6. Get CD so far to f**k. Sick and tired of crap during the week and the same turgid crap week in week out. If he's still in charge next season I won't be renewing my season ticket. It's become a chore going to watch this team which is so wrong. As for his treatment of Spoony, absolutely staggering he's still not been offered a deal or gets a game ahead of Carey.
  7. Reminds me of Jordan Jones. He always used to roast us every match without fail
  8. I wonder if he landed on his big toe instead of above the ankle, whether that would result in a different decision....
  9. If that was Callum McGregor or Ryan Jack, would a red card have been shown? Not a chance. As Div says, it's unfortunate what happened but there was no malice, no aggression, just an unfortunate accident. Common sense has to apply in these type of incidents
  10. Fantastic. Thanks for this. Much appreciated. My first game going to see St Johnstone was 1987 season. From 1989 onwards it's been mostly a fantastic era for us. I've been very fortunate.
  11. Looking to tap into some older Clyde fans knowledge. Would anyone know who was Clyde's number 3 for seasons 1984/85 and 1985/86? Any help appreciated
  12. Just get him so far to f**k from our club. Used to enjoy going to McD every week. It's now one of life's chores.
  13. Hardly a ridiculous statement. 7 points off it at present and we have been utterly horrendous this season.
  14. Sounded like Fox was about to burst Into tears on his radio interview tonight. Seems miles out of his depth.
  15. Normally no but when it leads to a goal?? A potential foul would be looked at ? So why not that ? If the throw in was taken where it should have been would it led to a goal ?
  16. That first goal for Celtic, the throw in is taken 15/20 yards further forward from where the ball went out. Why is that not looked at by VAR as a goal was scored directly from it? Refreshing to see saints actually having a go today.
