No surprise considering he's played a handful of games since December. He's one of the most versatile players in the squad and can slot into a number of positions. Don't forget he can still deliver a great cross/pass (see the cross for the leveller the other night). I'd imagine a full pre season under his belt and he will be back to the spoony we all know .

Saw him and Mitchell regularly walking round the north inch watching kids playing/training and they always went over for a kick about with them.. decent guys

I'd rather have Macca than some of the usual media darlings... Yogi, Goodwin, Dodds etc etc. Yes it's an unimaginative appointment but been impressed with his media work, impressed he's instantly got results and some kind of performance out of a team who looked destined for relegation only a few weeks ago. He will make mistakes ( see Motherwell game for example) but at least we will go down having a try to win as opposed to being negative from minute one like it was under CD The quick appointment allows him time to get rid of players he does not want and look to mould his squad.

Anyway really enjoying the change of interviews/style of play under macca. Refreshing to just see little things like 6 players in the opposing box when a cross comes in etc.

Yeah scanners now flag up any OAP tickets / under 18 tickets and makes the turnstile operator do a quick check that the person is over 65/under 18. Any doubt at all and they will more than likely refuse entry

Who would have thought playing players in their natural positions would result in better shape and performance. Still not brilliant in anyway but it's pleasing seeing a back 4 again, and more bodies inside the box when we attack. Still lots of work to be done but if you keep trying the shot/getting bodies in there, eventually more will go your way. A lot of similarity to some of Tommy Wright's team yesterday.

Some of the stories I've heard about him and his man management skills (or lack of them) makes you shudder. It's no shock he was getting nothing from players when he went weeks without speaking to some of them

At least in the early performances we were at least attacking and getting wide/crosses in etc. Yes we did not convert many chances but some games from memory we were having 20 attempts at goal etc.

Me and my daughter are not renewing if he's still in charge next season. We have not gone to the last 3 home games and not missed it one bit. It is just a chore to go and watch the same horror show over and over. I can handle us losing/being relegated etc but at least have a go / attempt to win a game rather than this utter garbage
