Official P&b Cycling Thread
chimneyman replied to Hank Scorpio's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I occasionally drive from our brand spanking new house in one of our 3 cars and have a drive out of Cumbernauld. Sometimes I'll strap my £3K bike to one of the cars Why do you need to practice roundabouts? You fucking idiot! How's things going at your mum's? -

Anyone in the Cumbernauld area want to arrange a ride? I'm a lapsed cyclist, but have started riding a route up Slamannan way. I'm only managing to get out every couple of weeks and need some motivation. Midweek evenings or Saturday / Sunday mornings would suit if anyone's interested. Cheers. -

What the f**k is a car-dwelling motorist? -
You finally got round to reading last year's accounts? Good for you, Tedi. That's how informed the typical bigot is. 6 months behind the curve. So you don't question the other £8 million? And also you don't question another bigot when he states your turnover as almost half of the actual figure? Tell me this, why would the typical bigot be so institutionally ingrained as to lie about turnover? Thats a rhetorical question, by the way. I hope the irony is not lost on you.
-
Come on Tedi. Give us the correct figures and you'll win this one. Go on, this is a tap-in for you. I've given you an open goal to shoot at. Even a thick bigot can't miss this one!!The figures, please! I'll give you some help. You quoted the post with 2 links. Did you not read the post you quoted? I was mocking the presumption by the Record journalist that King somehow had approval from the SA government. He fucking doesn't. We all know Dave King is corrupt to the core, just a few Orcs are in complete and utter denial. Mon the Hibs!
-
Missing the point completely. He does do business with the government - not disputed. It's also not disputed that corruption in SA is absolutely massive. So the fact that some parts of the government 'endorse' King doesn't really lend much credibility to his status as a trustworthy businessman. Get it now? King = Still disgraced.

Pretty laughable stuff in the Record this morning, particularly the stuff about Ashley. Wonder how much of this pish was drip-fed by King himself "Indeed, most of King’s business is done with the South African government and if he was so disgraced in his adopted homeland they would be unlikely to grant him the bulk of his work with Micromega Holdings, which oversees areas such as IT, procurement, recruitment and financial services." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/gary-ralstons-take-rangers-mike-5729446 https://www.thetrumpet.com/article/11050.32600.159.0/society/south-africa-where-corruption-rape-and-murder-are-normal

Still riddled with cliche and not much else. Anyway, the original point was the complete and utter double standard applied to politicians behaviour, depending on which party they belonged to. That why I called them 'fans' and likened the mindset to that regularly displayed on Rangers Media. But obviously some grown men, probably also balding and a bit bloated, can't handle their new favourite political party being criticised a little. Why is that?
-
What a cliche-ridden post that is! I'm pretty sure you also used the 'looking glass' line a few days back.SNP voter since 2003, btw. Grown men getting their knickers in a twist because someone said something negative about their new favourite politicians. Pitiful, that.
-
What point did I make that you weren't happy with, or disagreed with?
-
I would have thought that was implied by my use of the term 'current buzzwords', so really no need for you to have asked.
-
Yep. I'm also seething and raging and doing whatever else are the current buzzwords.
-
You make a good point.

A lot of the new SNP fans don't know, or care, about their history. They think the SNP were just formed for the referendum.
